Time Limit for DDE...

I have read on another thread that you have to request the DDP 3 days in advance of your arrival (which I already have). Is this the same for the DDE? What do I do if I want to add it and I am arriving on Wed. the 6th? MS closed today, tommorrow and Monday for the holiday. Can I call someone else??? Uh oh !!!

You'll be fine. Call the DDE people as soon as you can, but let them know your dates and that you would be able to pick up the card there - you'll pick it up at GS (outside the gates, not the inside one) at EPCOT.

On a recent trip, I completely forgot to order the card ahead of time. On our first morning, I called, gave them my CC info, and was told I could pick the card up after 5pm that same day. You will get a temporary card, but I had no trouble using it. The 'real' card will be mailed to you in a few weeks.

The DDE number is (407) 566-5858. Call Tuesday morning and tell them you need a temp card. As pezpam said, you can then pick it up on Wednesday at Epcot.

I have odered and picked up the card the same day from Epcot guest services. (Mon - fri only).

We drive down. We'll call on the Friday we're leaving (must be before 5 pm Eastern time, and it can take a few calls to get through) and pick it up at Epcot the next day when we arrive. The bonus on this is that it takes 8 weeks to get your real card so you end up with a couple of extra months.
