Time from touchdown to check in?

We are arriving Dec. 4 at Orlando International. Touchdown is supposed to be 3:10 and we are taking the Magical Express to the Contemporary. I am trying to figure out what time to make dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's that night. Do you think 6:00 is do-able? Thanks!

Usually around 90 minutes. But if your plane has a delay, you could be out $10 per person if you miss your reservation.

Dinner reservations for the first night are tricky. Last year we were scheduled to touchdown at 11 am, and we figured we'd have no problem making a 5 pm reservation at O'Hana. We figured even with delays, 6 hours would be plenty. We ended up just barely making it to the Poly at 5:10. It was really nerve wracking!

I've heard most say that it's about 90 minutes from touchdown to the resort. That part was pretty accurate. The part that killed us was our 7:30 AM flight not taking off until 1 pm.

Thanks everyone for the 90 minute estimation. I know we are taking a risk with a delay, but it is a risk I am willing to take to start our trip at Chef Mickey's for my girls. Crossing my fingers the plane is on time!
