Time from MCO to Resort?

I am sorry if there is a thread about this already. I tried to look, but sometimes all of the threads and posts are overwhelming!

Anyway. If my flight lands at 12 noon (on a friday in Oct), and I let Disney grab my bags and I take the ME to POFQ, about what time could I be in line at the bus stop to go to MK?

I assume I still go to check-in even though it is early, so I can get my KTTW card and get into the park?

If all goes smoothly, you should be at POFQ around 1:15 - 1:30. You go directly to check in and then you could be in line for a bus to MK by 2:00.

Now, a few things to consider that could add extra time...

1. will you need to eat lunch?
2. will you need to go to bell services to arrange for them to hold any carry on luggage.
3. if your room is ready, will you want to get into it right away?
4. do you have park tickets that you will want to have added onto your room key?

Your luggage should arrive to your room by 3:00.

1. I will probably have snacks in my carry-on. Is eating allowed on the ME? If not, we will wait to eat until we get to MK.

2. No. I don't plan on taking too many carry-ons. Probably a small backpack for me, a backpack for my daughter, and maybe a small bag for my hubby. I figured we could get a locket at MK if needed.

3. Nope. MK ASAP!

4. I am not sure I understand this question? What tickets would I have?

You should be on your way to MK by 2:00 if all goes to plan!! Enjoy!!

As for my last question...did you buy tickets from an outside source such as undercover tourist? If so, you will need to go to concierge to have the tickets added to your room key if you don't want to carry around separate park tickets.

Oh! No, I won't be buying tickets from another source.

That is good news. Now I just have to hope that everything actually runs smoothly that day!

Another question. about how long is the ride from POFQ to MK? Maybe 15 minutes?

Yep, 15 minutes travel time, but allow 15 minutes wait time for the bus to arrive at the resort.

So after reading this.... I'm guessing I will need to change my lunch ADR on arrival day... I am to arrive at MCO at 1108am, and I have a ADR at 1:15p @ Rain Forest Cafe in AK... staying at POR...

I think you'd be cutting it a little too close.

Yeah, you'll want to change that. The earliest you could reasonably make it is probably about 2:00, but I wouldn't make a reservation for anytime before 4:00 or so. You never know what kind of delays you're going to run into while traveling.
