Time from AK to lunch at Sanaa?

We have a FP for the Meet and Greet at the Outpost at 10:20 - 11:20. ADR at Sanaa at 11:40. How long do the meet and greets take and if we're done by 10:45ish, will that be plenty of time to get us to Sanaa?

Buses stink! Seriously our trip was last week. We did Animal Kingdom on a Monday with lunch at Sanaa at 1:05. We left the park for the bus line around 12:20. Waited and waited and waited some more to the point we were just done, exhausted. We called and cancelled our lunch because it was literally past our res time and still no bus. We hopped on our hotel bus for GF and went to the pool and and got pool side service instead. I will never do the buses again. Take a taxi. Or have to leave the park over and hour before your res. Sorry for the rant but I hope this helps in your planning.

Generally speaking, an hour should be enough time for you to get from AK to Sanaa, but your plan could have bumps like the one above. Occasionally a bus is nowhere to be seen for whatever reason (this is the case at any park and any resort) which could delay your plans. Another possible scenario is what if you get in your FP+ line at 10:20am but don't get finished with your meet & greet until 11am (again for whatever reason; I don't know how long lines can be for meet & greets)...well, by the time your party made it out of the park and hopped on an AKL bus, you definitely wouldn't make it in time to your ADR. Likely things will work out fine for you and you'll make it just fine to Sanaa, but there is definitely a realistic possibility that you might be late if there isn't a bus sitting there waiting for you when you get in line or arriving shortly after.

If you get out of the M&G and can be at the bus stop by 11:00, I think youll be fine. There are always transportation CMs at the park bus stops. If you've waited 20 minutes and your bus hasn't come, talk to one of them. The ride to Kidani only takes 5 minutes.

If you get out of the park much later, though, consider taking a taxi ( there's always some there). It shouldn't cost much more than $10.
