How much time would you say you would alot yourself to stake out a spot for these various places? I DO NOT have a prloblem staking out my spot in advance, but I just need an idea of when people start lining up...

We will be there mid August during the week...

1. Fantasmic

2. Electric Parade

3. Celelbrate Parade

4. Pixar parade

5. Fireworks

6. Alladin

I'm not sure on the staking out times but in case you didn't see the other thread people are being asked to stand a half hour before the fireworks and for the block party when you are in certain areas like in front of the castle ect. Hopefully others that have done it will chime in.

Thanks, I did see that, so that leads me to ask what time people start lining up. I want to be able to plan in the time frames for the variety of shows listed.

It depends upon what you want. Are you looking for a spot? A perfect spot? A seat? Anywhere where you can see? For below I will go with ideal, dream location/view on a busy day, decrease for less ideal spot, no stroller space needed, or less crowded:

1. Fantasmic: 2-3 hours for the 1st show, a little over an hour for the 2nd show (but be in the area sooner)

2. Electric Parade: guessing here based on previous years since it has not started yet this year: 1-1.5 hours

3. Celelbrate Parade: 1-1.5 hours

4. Pixar parade: 30 minutes

5. Fireworks: 2 hours, maybe more depending upon how picky, crowded, stroller or not, etc....

6. Aladdin: 30-45 minutes???

I think those are very good suggestions for August.

I have a fireworks viewing question and rather than start a new thread, I'll ask it here. If I am standing in the hub to view the fireworks, how difficult is it going to be to head into the back of the park and visit more attractions? Am I going to be facing a mass of people looking to leave DL for the night?

Thanks!

If you are standing near the Hub, the majority of people will be between you and the Main Gate. After the fireworks, just hang for a few minutes and let those around you start to spread out. Then head towards where you want to go.

Keep in mind the following, however:
- To go to Fantasyland: If you go through the castle, there is a waiting period while the fire marshal gives a safety clearance for that area; If you line up to enter from the sides, there is still a wait, but not as long.

- To go to Frontierland, Adventureland, NOS: You will be accompanied by all of those going to see the 2nd Fantasmic show or encounter those leaving the 1st Fantasmic show.

- To go to Tomorrowland: Off you go!

Patience is the key,
