Time Frame Help?

Hi all!
I have a Chef Mickey reservation set up for a 2:30 brunch, on arrival day. Our flight is supposed to arrive in Orlando at 11:58. Would we be able to just go right to the Contemporary, bypassing Riverside Check-in to the brunch? And check-in after we eat? I really don't want to miss this reservation, it is my husband and little boy's first time at WDW Thanks for any help given!!!

Magical Express will only take you to Riverside. From there, you will either need to take a bus to MK and walk to the Contemporary, or get a cab.

Allow 90 minutes from airport if taking Magical Express. You may end up cutting it close if there are any flight delays or your gate isn't ready.

And that's 90 minutes to Riverside -- not Chef Mickey. Chef Mickey may be up to an hour if you use Disney transport from Riverside.

Oh man, this one makes me cringe. You might make it, btu this woudl be the last way I wanted to begin our trip. Can you move this to dinner? WE like to start with CM on our trips. Especially if we bring kids, but with a noon arrival, I would not want to make any ADR before 5PM. I hate rushing.

Oh I know, I am cringing with you!!! We had originally scheduled an earlier flight, then I got word via email that the flight time had been pushed back.....I tried yesterday to reschedule the brunch for a dinner, but every time slot is taken; it's a 2:25 Brunch with no times after that to choose. And looking into the rest of the time we are there, the time slots are generally filled up. A girl here at work who is a fellow Disney fan advised me to keep the brunch time, but keep checking in and maybe something will have opened up. I really would love to give my family the Chef Mickey's experience!
