Time for taxi from airport to MK

Hi All - I was wondering if anyone knows how quickly I could expect to arrive at MK assuming that I didn't have to deal with luggage? Flight would get in at 5:15 PM. I am thinking of sending DH on Magical Express with our stuff and taking the kids directly to the park (or probably the Contemporary) via taxi. Thanks!

I did it last April (on the 1st, no fools!) and it took roughly 40min from the time I got to the taxi rank to the transportation and ticket center. Another 15min from there to the gate at the MK (via Ferry or Monorail).

Cost was $90 with tip.

For planning purposes, if your flight is on time and you go straight to the taxi stand at MCO I would assume arrival at the CR by 6:00 p.m. You could be at the MK main gate on foot by 6:15 p.m. That of course would not factor in any long waits at the taxi stand (not common, but not unheard of) or any unusual traffic delays (you would be traveling during rush hour).

The PPs $90 including tip seems higher that what would be normal. The Mears taxi fare estimator gives a fare of $60 (not including tip) for the trip, which is more in line with what I would expect it to be.

I've taken a cab in reverse of your route - from MK to MCO & it was roughly an hour from leaving MK gates until I stepped foot in MCO. Going to CR instead of the TTC might save you some time over that. This was in 2008 & it was $65 plus tip.
