Time for PS for Rose and Crown

I realize that there is no guarantee for an outside table for Rose and Crown but any suggestions on how to get one would be appreciated.

My advice would be to be very polite. Don't try to break into the line. The British know how to queue. When you get to the front ask politely in an understated way.

But regardless, enjoy the staff of R&C. Over all the years, we have found them to be some of the most delightful of WDW CMs.

I agree with BCV23. Be very polite and unassuming. I also found the waitstaff to be delightful. They were kind to us from the minute we got there, and the place was packed. But we were nice to them, and I did see some others acting more demanding and impatient. We ended up with the outside table with a perfect view.

It also might just be luck of the draw. When we were there they were giving the next person the next available table. But it never hurts to ask! So go ahead and ask.

7:50 has worked for us. I also think that we were seated outside because we had booked PS waayyy in advance and the CM might have noticed and though it was important to us. I also agree about not being heavy handed about dining outside. They hear "stories" all day long and I think the light touch might go over pretty well...especially within a couple of hours of closing.
The other thing that I belive might have worked in our favor is that I was wearing a Guiness sweatshirt

We checked in about 7pm for our 7:30 P.S. on Sunday Nov. 14. Before I could even ask anything about the patio, the woman asked ME- Do you want a patio table? I said, we'd love it, and would be willing to wait for one, if possible! There was a big line of people waiting to check in when I first got there, so I sat and waited for there to be noone in line, then I approached the podium politely. When our pager went off, we were taken to a table right at the railing! Wonderful view and food! Our second time of enjoying this ( last time was 4 years ago.)
