Time for Online Balance Transfer to Amex?

My first time transferring a credit card balance to an Amex card online. The Amex website says it takes 5-7 days but just wondering if anyone on here has actually done it and how long it took? Thanks!

Is there a transfer fee as percentage of the outstanding balance?

I've done transfers. It takes up to a week.

Thanks all. A few hours after I posted this I checked and the balance had transferred! Took two days after my request.

No transfer fee for the first 120 days and 15 months 0% APR with Amex Everyday Card. The catch is that they unfortunately limit the credit card balance transfer to 25% of your overall limit (or at least did in my case, but I think it’s an Amex policy). If I had realized that upfront I probably wouldn’t have applied, but it’s still a decent savings for me since there are no fees.
