Hi all,
I'm hoping some of you veteran DISers can answer a question. I booked a character breakfast at 8:10 at Crystal Palace knowing that my dd is scheduled to dance in MK on the same day. Turns out she dances at 11:20 but has to meet up with her group at 9:30 at the Grand Floridian. Do we still have time to do the character breakfast and then get her back out to the GF? She can't just meet them in MK since she will be in costume and non-Disney folks running around in costume in the MK is a definite no-no. If we have time, what is your suggested method to get her to the GF and DH and I back into the MK to watch her dance? monorail? (We do have 4 day park hopper passes if that matters but are not staying on property.)

Thanks!

You may make it, but I would say barely. A more experienced DIser may have a better opinion, but here is my thinking. Character meals, and I'm thinking specifically of CP, usually take about an hour with the characters stopping by at each table and then doing pictures and autographs - and then they do the parades with the kids - so that already puts you at 9:10 and that is if there are no delays or anything in CP. Then you have to walt back up to the main gate and get the monorail (I'm not sure if there is a boat or not, but I don't think so) and ride the loop stopping at the CR, T&TC, Poly and then to GF (I think that is the order of the stops). If you have absolutely no delays, IMHO, you would barely make it. But Murphy's Law being what it is, I would see if I can get in just a little earlier.

We had an 8:10 breakfast and we were hoping to be out by 9 when the park opened. Well, we were done eating and waiting to pay when the crowds were passing by...so that was a few minutes after 9. I would suggest you allow *at least* 1.5 hour for the breakfast and a monorail ride back to GF (if not a bit more). Because once you hop on the monorail it'll take you through CR, TC, Poly then back to GF. If the boat is there, that would probably be faster than the monorail. Hopefully you can make your ADR a bit earlier? :confused3

Have fun at WDW! :goodvibes

IMHO, I also agree. There is a boat, but no guarantee you will make it on time and it depends on how crowded the parks are. Character breakfasts usually last 1 1/2 hrs. If you can at all try for earlier I wouldn't want to be in a time crunch and miss the fun! The rail is faster, but still to many factors to add in.:confused3
