Time for borrowed points to be returned back

Hello - cancelled about 3 weeks ago, but borrowed points have not been returned to original use year. Don’t want to call again and assume there is a backlog.

Is anyone else still waiting?
 
Go online and do the chat. See what they say. Ask to put in another request.
 

I also used the chat feature about a week after cancelling the reservation. The agent I chatted with did it while I waited.
 
It took less than 2 weeks for them to put mine back. They had also made an error and left me 17 points in my current use year that had also been borrowed. Resolved in online chat in 10 minutes.
 
I had a May 4 ressie that DVC cancelled a week in advance. Borrowed points were put back automatically in 2 or 3 days.
 
I sent them an email last night and watching now. i Canceled myself for my late April trip and late May trip, but was hoping to use them. But decided it’s not going to happen, so hoping to unborrow them. I’ll chat if I don’t see any action after waiting.

I literally just now. Totally CM dependent I guess.

I emailed and they were put back into my Sept 2020 UY in a few days.
 
Oh boy, hopefully, this was just a mistake and not a sign of anything else?

I find that on chat, just like calling in, not all Reps are created equally. Maybe they're new or not as versed in all the procedures/protocols. Or, possibly they have been told to no longer do that through chat.

I think they are overwhelmed with work. There was no « have a magical day » or « can I help with anything else » at the end. He just closed the chat. I’m assuming I’ll just have to be a bit more patient.
 
Just got the same message from CM that they will be doing it within 15 days.

I got the sense that they are not doing it while on chat so they can move on to another member.

But no Change to the policy.
 
I used chat yesterday and was told 15 days. The cm said if I needed them earlier to book now, that I should call.
