Time for Boma/Trail's End

We are staying at Pop for a trip mainly focusing on waterparks. And I'm using it as an excuse to book some resort ADRs that we never make it to.

I'm wondering, if the waterparks are opening at 10am during our trip, what ADR time would be good to aim for for Boma and Trail's End, so we would get to the park just before opening?

I was thinking of Boma on our Blizzard Beach day, and Trail's End on our Typhoon Lagoon day. I'm not sure how much time to allow since they are buffets, and we should be able to start soon after being seated, but I don't know how busy/on time they tend to be.

Both are very busy buffets. I would always plan for at least an hour for a meal at WDW. You may not get seated asap even with an ADR and if you are using Disney transportation, there are always time variables to consider there.

If you get an 8 am ADR, you should be able to make it around 10, or pretty close to it. At that time, both buffets should be seating on time.

Note that there's no direct bus to BB or TL anymore. For BB, you have to take the AK bus and switch there to the BB bus (That's not far from Boma. Or you can Uber/Lyft). For TL, you have to take the dreaded Disney Springs bus and switch to the TL bus there.

Have you considered dinner after the waterparks day? I love AKL and given a choice, I would time my visit for the evening so I could enjoy the entire day at the waterpark, go back to shower and refresh, and then have a nice leisurely meal and explore that fabulous resort. If your goal is waterparks and resorts visits, it seems a shame to rush through one to get to another.

Also, Trails End is in FW> how much fun to take a lovely boatride to get there and then take some time to wander! I despise looking at a clock when I am on vacation, and although we do tend to book a lot of TS meals, I try to make them so my family can relax at any given time of the day.

Thanks everyone. Using Uber/Lyft is definitely on my radar and I won't hesitate to do so. Especially with the bus transfers going to the waterparks.

@Nancyg56 We are going to Sanaa one of the evenings for dinner! I'm really excited to explore AKL as we haven't been there yet. Usually we are go go go in the parks on our trips, and miss some of the resorts. But I've heard so many good things about Boma that I had to add it in for breakfast too

Ah! Well you are going to have the best of both Worlds! Have a great time!

Boma is one of the better buffets. We have done the breakfast and evening and both are good.
I would try and get an ADR for 8am. You shouldn't have too long of a wait at that time, show up a little early. You should be done a little after 9 and have plenty of time to get to the waterpark by opening time.
