Time for an Updated List: Favorite Restrooms

I like the one in the lobby at Pop Century next to the arcade.

For the ones in the parks, I have to say I was really impressed by the new ones (new since we were there last) next to the American Adventure area, gift shop, etc. Since they opened the new BBQ place, and added tables under the roofed area, I suppose they needed to add restrooms. They're attractive, larger than a lot of the ones in World Showcase, etc.
:thumbsup2

For all the flack they've gotten, the Rapunzel bathrooms on the edge of Fantasyland next to the Haunted Mansion are great. The theming is awesome. The hanging lanterns with the King and Queen's lanterns mixed in, the wanted posters for Flynn and the twins inside the entrance to the Men's, all the frying pans decorating the walls and alongside the mirrors inside.

I like to call these the "Enchanted" bathrooms. They are really nice!

The ones over by the Pirates of the Caribbean. To the extent that any public restroom in a large theme park can be, these are quiet, hidden, and under-utilized.

:thumbsup2 I've waited out thunderstorms in that area, and love the serenity that little hidden spot yields.

But I do like the theming of the Tangled bathrooms in Fantasyland.

I thought this thread was a joke before I opened it. Now that I think about it, I don't know if I've ever been in a restroom. Since we take breaks in the afternoon, I can normally make it 4-5 hours at a time without needing to. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I had no idea the restrooms were themed!

The ones in that empty building in Epcot. If you need someplace private to do your business, those are the ones to pick.

The ones in Contemporary next to The Wave. Soft, plushy, rolled up, cotton hand towels to dry your hands!

I have NEVER seen anyone else in that bathroom. It's almost creepy. And they have payphones in the hallway.

The new ones back by Gaston's Tavern. It was pretty quiet back there during spring break. The most crowded was the ladies room inside Be Our Guest restaurant at lunch time. There was a long line. We should have gone out to the ones by Gaston's instead.

OMG - I can only dream of such. The walnut sized bladder is out of my control, but I an a water drinker. So, I will continue to need frequent toilets. On the plus side, I have not gotten ill at WDW - probably due to all the handwashing.
I also like to out of the way by PotC. Any uncrowded out of the way one will do, though. As for resorts, I like all deluxe resorts because they have the washcloths rather than paper towels - it feels so good to freshen my face with those while I'm there.

My husband needed some time to take care of some, ahem, GI issues on our last trip on our Epcot day. He was seriously considering going all the way back to the resort to go to the bathroom because he didn't want to do what he needed to do in a public restroom. I told him to go to that building and do his thing. He didn't believe me when I told him that he'd have complete privacy, but when he came back, he said that other than seeing one person who walked out as he walked in to the building, there was NO ONE in there the entire time. And he was there for close to 30 minutes. LOL.

MK- Rapunzel restrooms, the ones by Pirates (although they were in a dreadful state when I last visited them, paper towels everywhere) for theme and quietness. Worst restrooms- the ones near The Plaza restaurant. Busy and dirty!
Epcot- The restrooms inside the Odyssey building. Only saw one other person come in whilst I was in there! Also the bathrooms on the second floor of the Land pavillion. They're above Soarin by the elevator down and they were huge, clean and again super empty! The bathrooms at the back of the Imagination pavillion are nice too.
DHS- None, they're all pretty much the same.
AK- Again, all the same. Outside is well themed but inside is standard restroom. Soap smelled good in this park.
Resorts- Surprisingly, the restrooms in Chef Mickey's. Surprisingly neat, clean, tidy and quite posh with a separate mirrors area. Nice toilet paper. The bathroom by 1900 Park fare was very posh too but very busy. The restroom near Beaches And Cream was very fancy with wash cloths.

My answer to the question is : The one that's closest.:)

I'm like DVCkidsMOM, I am doing everything I can to remain hyrdrated in the parks. Drinking a lot of water really helps sustain energy in the hot sun.
I also like to wash my hands frequently, and I reapply sunscreen every 2-3 hours(which requires a mirror). Since I'm going into the house of porcelain anyway...I might as well make full use of it :earsboy:

:rotfl2: I am excited to check out the Rapunzel *themed* bathrooms. Or just that are in general, I guess.

I am 100% sure my friends would think I am nuts to be excited about bathrooms.
