Time difference

We are going in October and the clocks in the UK will go back to wintertime whilst we are away.

Do the clocks change in Florida too or do they stay on he same timeline?

Yes we were there this time last year - first week of hols we had a 4 hr difference then last week US clocks changed and we were back to 5 hour difference.

Will be there again same time this year - see you there

When we were there last month it was a 4 hour difference (which at first confused me about the landing time at Orlando ), the uk clocks went forward the next day, then as we were on a cruise our clocks went back an hour a day later!!

We also had a ship time different to local time in Mexico too so we were all over the place

Just realised that this will affect us! We arrive on the 29th which means...EXTRA HOUR AT DISNEY!

Not sure if it'll bother us as its our first time outside Europe anyway so first jet lag experience.

Thank you everyone who has replied. We normally go in December so have the 5 hour time difference. Will have to remember on the 3rd to change our clocks

Can't wait to go - hoping we will have some warmer weather.

I wrote it on my planner so we didn't forget

By that stage of the hols I was ready for some sleep so an extra hour in bed was a bonus (still made 8am emh at AK!)
