Time Crunch Dilemma- Help!!! DL to LAX?

We will be leaving Disneyland Next Thursday Night 12/27 to catch our International Flight at LAX. Our flight is scheduled to Leave at 11:55 PM.

How much time should I allow to:

Get out of Disneyland Parking Lot?
Drive From DL to the Car rental Return Terminal/ Retun Car LAX?
Get to the Airport/ Check In/ Security via Car rental Shuttle?

I was initially thinking to leave at 9PM...but now I'm thinking its going to cut it too close. I really wanted to see the fireworks..but I think they start at 9:15PM
I guess I could wish for a flight delay or maybe not!

If you were me, what time would you leave?

International flight at 11:55pm, then you need to be at the airport 2-3 hours prior which means arriving at LAX between 9pm and 10pm. The drive can be up to an hour depending on traffic from Disneyland to LAX. To get from DL park to the parking lot via tram, can take at least 15 minutes, plan on at least a 1/2 hour from the park to outside of the parking garage.

If you leave the park by 7:30pm you can expect to get to the airport in time.

Everything takes longer than you expect, especially when you have a time limit!

You won't have time to see the fireworks this time sorry.
