Time change for ADR?

We have an ADR for the dinner in the castle for 4:20 for Oct. 8th. It was the only time they had. I was just curious if I keep calling could I possibly get a better time? I want to try to leave the park in the afternoon to give the girls some rest before the MNSSHP. The 4:20 time would not give us much time to leave and come back. So do you think if I keep checking back I might get a better time? Or should I not waste my long distance time in trying?

It never hurts to keep trying! We always take the first available time that is SOMEWHERE near what we really want. We usually end up trying to tweak the time to get a better slot or to accommodate a change in our plans. We have been lucky to snag a spot left by a cancellation and the other times we just consider ourselves lucky to be eating in the castle!! Have fun and enjoy the parade!
