Time between Parks and resorts

I need to know about how long it takes to get from AK to AKL. We have a 5:55 ressie at Boma in early December. Also how long to get to CSR from Epcot? I can't find time est. for WDW transportation and just need a basic idea of how long to set aside for travel to or from.

A good rule of thumb is to allow one hour for transportation from place to place, up to 1.5 hours if it involves resort to resort transportation (since there will be transfers involved most times).

Of course, AK to AKL doesn't take that long since they are next to each other. I would still allow at least 30 minutes though from leaving AK to what time you want to arrive at AKL - you will be most likely be early and you can check out the lobby / savannah if you have extra time.

I don't know about CSR to Epcot specifically, but I would always plan an hour. And don't forget if you are taking the bus to Epcot FW and your reservation is in WS, it will take you another ~20 minutes to walk to WS to your restaurant (again, depending on where it is in WS).

I would put aside anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour for travel. As you never know with the transportation. It could take 15 minutes or it could take an hour. I find the more time you set aside the better off you are.

Unofficial Guide has a table that shows average time to expect and the worst time to expect between points. It has times for using Disney transportation and a car. Most libraries have these if you just want to peruse them.

Neither of the two you have identified are that far apart.

My copy of the UG shows 21 minutes average for DAK to AKL and a worst case (waiting 20 minutes for bus to depart) of 28 minutes. Of course you have to add time to get to the bus area and get to the restaurant and getting there ahead of your ADR.

For Epcot to CSR the times are 26 minutes average and 34 minutes worst case.

You can get to some of the longer hauls like AKL to MK or Contemporary to DAK and your times could be 45-60 minutes from bus stop to park gate. Here is a link for distances between areas of interest. Mileage isn't the only factor since some buses make multiple stops (e.g. DTD) per location.

This is why we always rent a car. 30 minutes is our worst case.

It took us less than 15 minutes to get from AKL to AK but we didn't have to wait for a bus.
