My ADR for BOG is at 12:30 and my FP for 7DMT is from 1-2pm. Do you think that leaves enough time to eat at BOG without being too rushed to make it to 7DMT before 2? I'm paranoid because I've read some people have had to wait in line for a long time to eat at BOG. How long does lunch at BOG typically take if you preselect your meals?

We were seated almost immediately. The line for preorder was almost non-existent. The other line looked a lot longer.

I think it depends on if you preorder and how long you plan to sit and eat. We did lunch one time there last May and we were a party of 9. We didn't pre order. It took us over an hour to order, get our food, and eat. I was so surprised when I saw how long it took.

We had 2:25 BOG and and a 3-4pm FP at Splash. We arrived towards the end of our window, I remember walking up to the Splash entrance, seeing a bit of a back up and getting concerned we may not make it to the second tap before our window closed. It turned out not to be a problem at all. We took our time at BOG, we were pretty close to the last people to leave, they were turning the restaurant over for dinner. We lingered to use the rest room and take some last pics then made our way over to Splash. We did not preorder and the line to order was fairly long but the food came very quickly.

Thanks so much for the replies. I've been looking for an earlier ADR for BOG to come up, but no luck yet. With it being our first time at BOG, I just want to make sure we get to enjoy it without having to rush on to the next thing. I'll preorder our meals to help make sure we have plenty of time. Knowing that it's been done before in a similar time frame make me feel better about keeping my current plans!

I think with pre-ordering and the proximity of BOG to 7DMT (as opposed to us heading to Splash) you will be just fine! They usually suggest 90 minutes for a TS meal and since this is not a full on served meal (you get your own drinks and the food comes all together, if you order dessert it comes with your meal all at once) I think you are going to be just fine with plenty of time to relax, look around and take it all in! Enjoy!
