Time between FIRST show and LATE dinner

How much time is there between the first show and the late seating dinner? Do I have time to wear something casual to the first show, then change into dinner clothes for late seating dinner? Help! I'm a female, so keep in mind that I'll need time to primp...I wanna look my best for all you other DISers! *laughs*

The shows only last about an hour so you should have an hour or so to get ready.

In my experience, we usually had about an hour. The show was at 6:30 and lasted an hour, so we were out of the show by 7:30. Dinner was at 8:30. (This was on the Dec. 1 Magic)

On Formal night, we had enough time to go up and change and then get back down to have our pictures taken before we needed to go to dinner.

What we usually did was take showers before the show, then put on casual clothes, go to the show, then come back and change and do any "primping" that was required. (Although, as a guy, I don't "primp", I do other stuff that may be similar, but it's not "primping" )

We did the same as RickW. Showered and dried hair before the show then went back to the room and put on makeup and finished 'primping'. We then had plenty of time to have pictures taken and everything else.

We did thingd a bit different. There was time between the shows and dinner, but we would go to additional entertainment between the show and dinner. We would get ready before the shows, go to the show and before dinner, catch some more entertainment as a family. We did Family Dueling Pianos twice (my daughter loved the show), bingo and family kareoke. After the entertainment, we would go to dinner. We found that this worked the best if we wanted to do these events as a family. After dinner, the entertainment is mostly for the 18 and over crowd.

But, to answer your question, yes there is plenty of time to get showered and dressed for dinner after the shows.

We did the same as bcburgner. We would go to the show ready for dinner. The entertainment between the shows and dinner were fun for families and the best time for them to be in the clubs (not allowed later). If you are with kids, I suggest these if you want to take the time. And, as everyone has said, I think there was about an hour between the end of the theater show and the late seating. I guess it depends on what you like to do and how long it takes you to prepare for dinner.
