Somehow I missed that you had started this PTR way back a month ago!! :headache: I so enjoyed the last one! February was a busy month for me, and I was looking and wondering when you were going to start this summer's PTR ... SO I am glad I happened to see your link on Diane's PTR! I just read through these 13 pages and I am so excited for you -- this trip sounds just as wonderful as the last! :thumbsup2 Your plans for dining sound great, and I agree that the basic plan will suit your needs and help you do other great things, too! We have driven a couple times now, and you will notice the benefits of having the car with you. Can't wait for more updates! ;)

Wow...spring break has allowed me to catch up on all the great reports...I love to follow your family and can't wait to read more!!!

I found your report & hopped on as I enjoy your adventures. I live just up the road from you & I was lucky enough to miss the snow. I did cheat because I was in south Florida for all of Feb.:goodvibes

Loved your pics of Gatlinburg. We have been there over 35 times & had a blast everytime. The place has changed so much over the years.

That is GREAT Lesley! YAY for you and Tim and tomorrow night, I'm jealous! We have ANOTHER snow day today....AHHHH togetherness!:rolleyes1
Hi Diane!!! Snow Snow GO AWAY!!!!

Lesley I have a suggestion for your title. One trip, two families, and many Tokyo Sunsets.
LOVE IT!!! Diane loved it too, Tim said "sure you love it, you guys are the one's who get to drink the sunsets"

That's a terrific deal for your first night in Orlando.

Have a wonderful weekend :goodvibes
Thanks!

Have a fabulous weekend, sounds romantic!
Thanks, it truly was!

Sounds like things are really coming together!! So happy the two of you get to spend a lovely evening together... enjoy!

I promise I'll update my PTR this weekend... but I have to share... I booked Hoop-Dee-Do tonight!! We were waiting on the results of our taxes to see if we could splurge on it.. and we could!! Jumping up and down with excitement!!!:dance3:
Yes, they are, we had a wonderful getaway, pics to come tonight. Awesome about Hoop Dee Doo, we had a great time, Luke was up on stage (don't know if you remember that), great memories!

How neat you get to stay at same hotel again.

Enjoy your night away with Tim :lovestruc
Thanks!

I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend....enjoy.....
We did, thank you!

Have a great weekend, Leslie! When you are thinking of a place to stay in southern Georgia, you might want to stop in Valdosta. It is right at the state line and about three and a half hours from Disney.
Thank you! Valdosta is a wonderful suggestion, THANKS!

SO nice to hear you are planning atrip to NYC have a ball at the American girl store I love that place however very expensive.. When ever I take my daughter there we always have grandma with us if you get what I mean LOL!!!! Enjoy all of your trips this summer
Can't wait to get to the American girl store for Lauren, I told her "doll only!", I know they are expensive, this will be her first one. Wish we had a gma and gpa like that : )
Have a great weekend! Great Valentine's gift!:goodvibes
Thanks!

Have a great weekend.:flower3:
Thank you!!!

Hope you are having a wonderfully romantic weekend, Tim & Lesley!!

What a great rate that was for your extra night's stay - I may consider that for the tail end of our trip. I rented points for 5 nights but I hate to leave on a Friday!! I was trying to think of a place for at least one more night that wouldn't cost a fortune (plus I don't think I could rent points this late for 12/3 and/or 12/4/10).
Thanks, it really was WONDERFUL! Sure, Buena vista is great, they had the rate through a mousesavers.com code.
Hope you had a nice weekend downtown. Tom and I have done that before for our anniversary and it was very nice.

Erika
Thanks Erika.

Lesley,
I have been reading your trip reports for the past several years. I see that last year we missed each other by a few days and this year we will overlap at the end of your trip. our dates are 6/23-7/1. We live in Cincinnati and are also in love with Disney! I love reading about your plans and seeing your pictures!
I look forward to this trip report!
Kim

Of COURSE I remember that Luke got on the stage!! I also will be looking for the Voices of Liberty lady that you guys saw at HDD! We made sure to get category 1 seating so we could be in the middle of the action!:thumbsup2

:surfweb:

Hi guys. So........ Tim wanted to keep our weekend photo's private  But suffice it to say we had a wonderful getaway, the room was wonderful, overlooking the Downtown Skyline. We enjoyed seeing the movie Valentine's Day and had a great dinner at Mitchell's Fish Market, YUM!!!:thumbsup2

Back to Disney Planning!

As I said before, we have decided on Regular Dining. Here is what we have planned:
Kona
LeCellier
Biergarten (with the Diane, Bryan, Matthew and Eric)
Out of Pocket for Crystal Palace breakfast with Diane and crew
Dinner at Teppan Edu with Diane, Bryan Matthew and Eric
Boma
OHana's with Diane and family
DATE NIGHT at Jiko (with Diane and Bryan, putting the kids in Simba's Clubhouse together)
Tuttio Italia
Last day, no sit down, head home :guilty::sad2:
-I also plan on eating at Boma for breakfast one morning and eating out of pocket, just LOVE Boma breakfast!

So............. What do you think??:confused3 I think we are eating at some yummy places and we saved BIG money by moving from Deluxe to Regular Dining.

STAY TUNED.............. Coming Up:
I need your help with our Disney Give a Day Get a Disney Day Meal Preparation...... I'll post that soon so you can help me before this upcoming weekend:thumbsup2
Thanks guys!
-Lesley

Great... first all the build up, now we can't even see them?! Now I'm even MORE curious....:rotfl:

So glad you got to have a special day!!

All of your ressies look great! O'Hana with Diane and her gang will be SO much fun... along with all the other 'joint' meals you have planned. I'm getting excited thinking about it for you guys!

Great choices! I'm a big fan of the Boma breakfast myself! I especially the love the part where you just go right downstairs when you are staying at the lodge! :cloud9:

Great dining choices! Some of our favorites are on there -- Tutto, Boma, Teppan Edo, Kona, and Crystal Palace. Looking forward to hearing what your think of Jiko's -- one day we will make it there.

Glad you had a nice weekend

Dining plans looks great. Boma Breakfast is so yummy :woohoo:

Hi guys!:goodvibes
Well, I found a GREAT rate for Buena Vista Suites for the 15th of June (my birthday), it was only 89.99 for the night. The suite includes a refrigerator so we can put all of our food we buy in it.
This is the same hotel Tim and I stayed on our honeymoon 11 1/2 years ago:love:, it includes a free breakfast.
So the plan will be, hoping in the car early on the 14th and driving as far as we can go (probably to the southern most point of Georgia or Northern Floriday), then finding a hotel to stay in. Then on the 15th (my b-day) we'll head to Orlando, stock up on food/staples (yes wine is included on the staples list:rotfl:) and spend the night at Buena Vista suites. We will check into Animal Kingdom Lodge on the 16th. If we want to hit the park on the 15th for a bit we can (I anticipate we probably will, can't imagine us staying away).
I'll post our dining plans this coming week.
I'm so excited for tomorrow night. My Valentine's Day gift to Tim was a reservation at a nice hotel in the Downtown Cincinnati area, I arranged for his mom to watch the kids - so we head out tomorrow afternoon for a getaway just the two of us:love:, CAN'T WAIT!
Hope you all have great weekends!
-Lesley

We stayed at Buena Vista suites for a couple of days last March. The rooms were really nice!

I'm glad you had a nice weekend!

Sounds like you guys really enjoyed your couples weekend. Glad you could get away for the weekend. Dining plans look great ... my mouth is watering just thinking about all those great meals.

Your ADRs sound great. I am very interested to hear about Kona, Jiko, and Tutto Italia. They are places we would like to try in the future but I don't hear too much about them, especially Jiko.
