Well, I can't believe one week from now we will be in Disney together, the time has just flown by. The day after Halloween Lauren got sick and is STILL sick, poor girl had 104 temp tonight as we put her to sleep, it's just breaking my heart because she has a huge girlscout campout this weekend that she was SO looking forward to, tears have been shed for sure.
I guess the timing of her getting sick was good, she got to trick or treat and she isn't sick as we are leaving town, that would have been TOUGH!!! Now praying we all stay healthy.
Today I checked us in online, felt SO good to do that, can't believe we are so close, pretty soon the bags will be out and we will start to pack, can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A couples trip is wonderful! We went to Disney last October with three other couples. We had the time of our life! Many funny stories from walking Food and Wine and just enjoying the time. We also had a blast at JellyRolls one night...make sure to check that out! We stayed at Beach Club and loved walking to Epcot at night and being able to walk back too. Running the beach at midnight after Jelly Rolls and rolling around in the sand was one of my favorite memories! We felt no guilt in leaving our children behind. Like yours, they go to Disney World every year. They know how lucky they are to do that (many children don't...even though on here it seems that they do!). It made our relationship so much better and our love for Disney soared when we realized how special it was for just a couple. We loved it so much we are going again in March with two of the other couples. Can't wait to hear about your trip! Have a blast!!!

Well.... we're almost there!!!!! I only have 2 days of work until we are OFF TO DISNEY!!!!!! Lauren finally turned a corner on Saturday and returned to school yesterday.
Our suitcases are pulled out and we are going to pack tonight. We decided to get a hotel near the airport (2 hours away) tomorrow night so we aren't rushing around on Thursday morning and getting up at the crack of dawn (and sleeping on a pull out couch since my mother n' law is staying here). SO, OUR TRIP OFFICIALLY STARTS TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!.
SOOOO much to do today in order to get ready but that's the exciting part. Please pray that Luke and Lauren hang in there as we leave and it isn't an emmotional mess, they have been great so far and supportive of our getaway lately (of course we bribed them by telling them they will each get a souvie upon our return ).
I can't wait for this getaway with Tim.

My mom and I will also be arriving from sunny south Florida on Thursday! Only staying 2 nights and I cannot wait! My mom had jury duty yesterday and she was very stressed about it so now that it is over, she is also super excited about our mini getaway! Here's to low crowds and yummy food and drink!
