Timandlesley’s how to win a dream in 10 days 11/15 NEW PTR UP!! pg. 94 has link!!!

Yay, another update:yay:

Lauren looked cute all dolled up:goodvibes

I have not been in Innoventions in Years. After seeing your pictures, I have got to take my son in there this trip. Looks like a blast!!

Did you and your family pay to have entire park to yourself or something:confused3 :rotfl2:

There is like no one there. I have never seen that

Sorry you had such a crappy meal at San Angel

I love that Gran Fiesta ride as does DS. Can not wait to get back on it
again:woohoo:

The velcro show looks like fun:)

I love how silly you all are in your pics. :rotfl:

Can't wait for more popcorn::

wow.......glad i don't want to eat at the mexican place! too bad because i love mexican food too - it's my favorite. i'm not a big taco bell fan though.

Tim’s hidden Mickey : )

this is hilarious! :rotfl:

that velcro game looks fun! can't wait to see what you guys do on your last night!

I second (or third) the fact that Mexico is yucky! Even the chips and salsa they serve you is tostitos and jarred salsa - that's fine at home, but not for an "authentic" Mexican restaurant. I remember liking it a long time ago - like 15 years ago (man I'm getting old) but last year I ate there again and have no desire to eat there again. Which is really a shame because I love the pavilion itself and mexican food!

I'm bummed that your trip is almost over!

And I think I deduced your preview clues...but I won't spill the beans. ;)

Can't wait to hear about your last night popcorn::

We are a big mexican food lovin' family, so I'm glad to get the review of San Angel. We'll definately skip it until I've started hearing better things about it! I can't believe it is your last full day already! I can't wait to hear about your last night! Sounds like it's gonna be a good one!

I totally agree with your assessment of the restaurant in the Mexico pavilion. DH & I ate there in December for our Candlelight Processional package and it was disgusting. I so should have gotten a margarita with that meal, so that I might have enjoyed a little part of it. Even our waiter was awful. That restaurant is definitely on our "do not return" list.
Isn't it awful, it's a shame too because it's so beautiful. Oh, don't get me started on our waiter, he brought the nachos and it took like 15 minutes for our drinks we were sooooo thirsty, he wasn't good either. We will never return, and I've never said that about any Disney restaraunt.
Lesley
I also agree about the Mexican restaurant. We ate there during our last trip. The atmosphere is awesome but the food is terrible.
Yup, just plain ol' bad.

We haven't gone back to the Mexican place either.. the last time we went was in 1999 on our honeymoon. My meal was okay...dh hated his and basically said never again.
Well, it sure hasn't improved since 1999.
Yep... not the best food, and for such a pretty restaurant so sad! Can't wait to see what your last night entails!
I know, it is sad! When is your Luke coming out to play???
We ate at that restaraunt last year and didn't like it. It sounds like your experience was worse than ours though. Ours wasn't horrible, just not worth spending a TS credit on. I prefer the counter service mexican.

So sorry to see the trip coming to a close, but I am anxious to read the next installment.
It just wasn't good, Lauren and Luke loved it but Tim and I did not, stay tuned for the next installment.
we had a adr at san angel last year but at the last minute switched and went to liberty tree tavern- so glad we did!
Innovations looks awsome, I think we went in there for just a few minutes last year but I would like stick around a little longer this trip!
Lauren looks so adorable in the first picture - with all her goodies on:goodvibes
I sooo cannopt wait to read your next update-- the "were so lucky" makes me think that MAYBE, just maybe you got to stay in the castle. :confused3 :goodvibes
Yes, be glad you switched it. YOu have to check out Innovations, such fun!
Lesley
Lauren looks so cute all dolled up with her jewelry.

Stinks that your meal wasn't any good. At least the chips were good!

I had heard some good things about the velcro exhibit. It looks like y'all had a blast. I, too, love those little things about Disney!

Your "Lesley animals" were too funny! I want to do that next time.
Lauren is the queen of accessorizing : ) Glad you liked my animals ; )

How funny is that- i just started your report and the pic of your son at Imagination at the Kodak area-----that is my old roommate....she works there doing hte kodak demos.....too funny. I'll have to email her the pic (we did the WDWCP together 12 years ago and still keep in touch). She'll get a kick out of it. here she is in real life....

OH MY GOSH THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNY!!!! What a small world, we just love her SHE IS HALARIOUS! I would love her job!
Lesley

The last full day is always a sad start, but it is hard to stay sad when you are at Disney!

We lucked out I guess because we enjoyed our meal at Mexico in 2007. We had the counter service this year and it was good as well. Sorry yours was so crappy.

Thanks for the update!
It was a sad start but we had a GREAT day! Glad you enjoyed your meal.
Lesley
Great update but now I am nervous about eating in Mexico in Sept. I ate there in 2006 the food wasn't great but it wasn't bad...so who knows what we will get...maybe a switch to Teppan Edo???

Looking forward to the next update!
Teppan Edo HANDS DOWN, we love that place, the food is just no comparison!
Lesley

I hated seeing the paperwork on the door last morning too. My heart sank for you. I am kinda mixed now on San Angel because I have 2 good friends who love their food.
Oh, it is just awful, I didn't even have the heart to take a pictuer of the paperwork on the door this year.
Oh my!!!! We are eating at San Angel Inn for dinner one night. I remember going there for my parents 15th wedding anniversay one year and it was great! That was 11 years ago though. I'm nervous now, but still feel that even if the food isn't that great I really want to go for the romance of how beautiful it is. I hope I am not making the wrong ecision.

I can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow:bride:

35 hours till we leave for Disney!!!!! Sooooo excited!!!!
Wow, can you change it? It is romantic though, so enjoy that part of it. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WEDDING!!!!!!
Lesley

I cannot wait to hear the surprise event your
speaking about, you must have saved the best
for last!!:dance3: Please don't keep us in suspense
to long!!;)
Well, next surprise is great but the BIG surprise is THE VERY LAST, so stay tuned. We leave to go out of town for Tim's brothers wedding tomorrow and will return Sunday, look for an update Monday.
Lesley

Your children are adorable! I'm enjoying your report so far.
Thanks, so glad you are enjoying it.

U are another on the list of folks that didn't enjoy San Angel inn :( Boy am I glad we have never used credits on that ... .

Great family pictures of the day.... Looks like you guys were having a blast!
Yes, be glad you saved your credits. We really did have a blast this day, we always do in Disney!!!

You just gave me that extra push I needed to cancel our ADR for San Angel. We switched to Tutto Italia. Sure hope that is better...
Tutto Italia is a MUCH better choice, ENJOY! But do check out the Mexican pavilion and the boat ride, too fun!
I just found and read your TR. I am looking forward to the rest with everyone else.:)
Well, WELCOME! Glad you found us, ENJOY!

Yay, another update:yay:

I know, it really did seem like we had the park to ourselves, it was wonderful, that's what I love about Epcot, so spread out. The velcro show was fun, definitely check out Innoventions next trip!
Lesley

I know, it's just plain yucky, they need to re-do the menu/cooking there. Glad you figured out the clue, update coming Monday after we return from being out of town this weekend so stay tuned!

We are a big mexican food lovin' family, so I'm glad to get the review of San Angel. We'll definately skip it until I've started hearing better things about it! I can't believe it is your last full day already! I can't wait to hear about your last night! Sounds like it's gonna be a good one!
Yes, I would skip it, enjoy the other great restaraunts Epcot has to offer: Tutto Italia, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Teppan Edu, etc. etc. Oh yes, next update should be really fun!
Lesley

That Velcro show looks pretty fun! I can't wait to check it out. Sorry about the crapy mexican food. I so wanted to try to switch one of our meals for there, but I think I will just keep what I have now!

Looking forwanrd to the next installment!

Oh I forgot. Have you guys ever done the waterparks? Just wondered!! DH and I did them before we had kids. And now DS LOVES water things, so we are going to do them again in a couple weeks!!

so glad I changed that ressie. I read many bad reviews and decided not to keep it. Biff also does not like Mexican so not on his list of things to do.

great update and pics.

I know I don't post much but I check your TR every evening for an update. I love following along; reminds me to cherish the memories I have of our trips and gets me excited about the ones yet to come. I love that you're including more pics of food on this TR. I was pondering San Angel Inn and your review is really helpful.

I can't believe you're getting your class ready! I had to buy school supplies last weekend because school starts here in Mason on the 20th. Where is the summer going? I have been so swamped with work that it is quickly passing me by! But it's also bringing me closer to my Jan trip. :)

I can't believe your TR is almost over. :sad1: Lovin' the cliffhangers. popcorn::

Thanks Leslie! Sleeping before your wedding day irs really hard..lol (especially when it is being followed by Disney). I'm gonna try to take some pm's and get some rest. See you all when I get back!!!

Your Epcot morning sounds wonderful. Sorry about San Angel Inn :scared: sounds disgusting. It definately won't be on my list. I think the CS place in mexico is good though. I :sad2: can't believe your trippie is almost done.

Wow! Didn't know about the velcro stuff in Epcot! We'll have to check that out. Love those little pieces of magic when you find them!

Sorry about San Angel Inn...I've been hearing really horrific reviews of the food and service there in the last several months. :confused3 We've always enjoyed our food there but wonder if something is going on with the internal workings and management.

Can't wait to hear about your last night!

Oh the things we can learn from the T&L crew!
cool things in inovations and stay away from the giant taco bell in epcot :)

Great update! It's so sad that you only have half a day left. :sad2: Sorry about the San Angel Inn. We tried it about a month ago on our trip and really enjoyed the food. We went for dinner though, so that may play a part in it. And so may interest in the food (as well as where you come from, seeing as we're 4 hours from the border). Can't wait for your next update.

Another great update! We spent a whole day in Innoventions back in 2005 and missed all that stuff! Was that in Innoventions East or West? I can't believe how much there is to do in Innoventions alone, I love Epcot!

Sorry about the food at the San Angel Inn. We've have ADR's there for the past three years but always wound up cancelling them and now I'm glad we did. We have awesome Mexican restaurants around here so it sounds like we'd be disappointed too. I'll cross that one off our list for next time. Thanks for the review!

Definitely looking forward to more :thumbsup2

Thanks for another great update!!! :thumbsup2

Glad to hear that you had such a great day, but a horrible lunch at the San Angel Inn. I LOVE Mexican food, so we tried the restaurant a few years back for dinner. Unfortunately, we had the same experience as you. I was not impressed with the food either and we probably won't be back. :sad2:

Sad that your report will be coming to an end soon, but I'm excited for the next update! :goodvibes

How's Mickey adjusting to his new home? :)

Finally all caught up! I am so sad that this TR is coming to an end though. :sad1:

I completely agree with your review of San Angel Inn...One year we went, and I couldn't eat any of the food we ordered, so I asked the waiter to just bring out some white rice...and that is all I had for dinner...it probably didn't help that we had gone Mission Space right before, so my stomach wasn't feeling it...haha

Oh yes, and your dog Mickey is such a cutie pie, he looks so lovable!! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip! :goodvibes

So funny about the Kodak girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Definitely a small world!

Too bad about your meal at San Angel Inn! It is so dark in there! I ate there years ago, maybe 2001 and I couldn't tell if my steak was cooked to my liking! I like to see that there is no red, barely pink if you know what I mean! It wasn't terrible but we haven't been back and prolly won't anytime soon. The theming is soo cool though! Bad food and too dark.

Your family is so adorable! I can't wait to see what is next!

Great update! :thumbsup2 I didn't realize Epcot had all those hidden gems! Love the Lesley animals! :) Sorry about the meal at San Angel. We enjoyed the counter service there last year so we will definitely stick with that and not waste a TS! Tim's hidden Mickey was too funny! :rotfl2: Tell Luke I agree, I think I saw a hidden Mickey there too! :goodvibes
