You can't resurrect Maleficent without the woman who did the voiceover. She MADE her who she is. She was the same lady that did Cinderella's step mom. That lady was a voiceover queen!

Ah the voice of dissention! What don't you like about Burton's films? I've liked almost everything he's done. Batman, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands et al.

I love the idea but I dislike that Tim Burton films almost all look the same. Everything he makes uses the same kind of production, art and set design. It worked for a few things but I can't stand that everything he makes looks the same. I would not mind him doing it if he pledged to go in a different direction (visually) with it.

One might say the same about Spielberg or Cameron or even Scorsese. Tim Burton is a very dark, very out-there kind of director.

Ah the voice of dissention! What don't you like about Burton's films? I've liked almost everything he's done. Batman, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands et al.

Its not so much that his movies are crap, they are just too stylized. Its like a handbag fanatic who doesn't like Vera Bradley's flowery bags or Louis Vuitton diarreah brown bags. Nothing wrong with the bags, they are just too out there for the eyes to handle.

His films all look exactly the same, and star the same people. I really wish he'd leave Disney alone.
