I have a question. What does Tour Guide Mike offer? Basically, I am a little dense when it comes to this. I have heard of it, but I guess I don't realize what the big "pull" is to being a part of it. What does it offer that UG doesn't?

I am a big fan of UG but decided to give TGM a try also on our last trip as we had not been in nearly 7 years & I wanted all the info I could get. I think there is a good deal of overlap in what they offer. They have very different styles or "voices." I found that I prefer UG and their depth of research, but there are good things about TGM-- for example, since it is on the web he can update all the time whereas UG admits that like all travel books it's slightly out of date when it rolls off the press. I'd say if you are happy with UG you do not need TGM, but it costs less than $20 to decide for yourself. (Use the link from the DISboards Theme Park Attractions and Strategies to get a discount price, and he will give a full refund if you are not satisfied.)

Thanks. I don't have a trip planned, so I probably won't invest in it right now, but might be an option in the future.

I just got back from my trip and i just wanted to tell you again how thankful i am that you helped! All of your tips were great! I think we waited maybe ONCE in all 4 parks the entire time! (That was a 25 minute wait for Soarin at 4Pm, it was such a wonderful time to be in disney)

Anyway, i was doing some photoshopping to some of my pics , and I remembered a really cute picture of Tim and your kids. I hope you don't mind, but i took it upon myself to photoshop it a bit as a thank you. I hope you like it! (if you don't, lie, i'm sensitive. Juuust kidding. )

Well, today has been a rough day. I had to leave work early yesterday because Tim was feeling weird and I took him to the ER based on doctor rec's, they admitted him and he is in MAJOR abdominal pain, they ruled out an appendix rupture but are very concerned about him so he remains there heavily doped up and under doctor care. They think maybe a severe muscle tear/pull in the groin area (we moved a TON of furniture over the weekend) poor guy is in MISERY! Just wanted to update you all so you could say a prayer for my man.
