Tilikum???

Does anyone know if Tilikum is still around? I was at Sea World Orlando on May 5 and didn't see him in the One Ocean show. Was he just taking a break? Has anyone seen him since or before that date?

Just got back today. They referenced him being there, but I did not see him with my own eyes.

He is still at SWO...he sometimes appears in one ocean during the splash segment and sometimes at dine with shamu. He is also at underwater viewing once a day for a period of time.

He should be rehabbed and released. Keeping him in a fish bowl is cruelty. All cetaceans should be swimming free with their families in the open sea!

You do realize that he would die in the wild. After living in captivity for so long, he no longer knows how to hunt for his own food. He's better off at SW and under the care of the trainers at this point.

Do you remember what happened to Keiko, the orca that starred in Free Willy? He was rehabbed and released, but he never got used to being a "wild" animal. He died maybe a year or so after being released. Sea World would never allow one of their animals to be harmed like that. Tilikum is better off where he is.

He is there. I didn't see him either on the 6th. With his size he is good for splash time. Have to say the ones they had that day did not do as well as the others.
