I tiled my mom's bathroom over the weekend and finished grouting yesterday before I had to leave and travel back home (about a 5-hour drive). Before leaving, I wiped down the tiles a total of three times.

I told her before leaving that she would probably have to wipe the tiles down another time or two...which she has done. But today, she called and said there is still haze in the dimpled surfaces of the tile. She's wiped it down again today.

Should we wait until the grout cures and then scrub it down? And if so, what should she use to clean it with?

I just want to be sure all the grout is out of the surface of those tiles....

DH says that you could wait until after the grout is completely cured to clean off the tile. You could use a rag and warm water to get the grout off the tile.

However, you don't mention SEALING THE GROUT, which you have to do! You'll need to get a grout sealer and apply more than one coat -- apply, let dry, apply, let dry. If you don't seal your grout, you could get stains on your grout!!!!!!

I have purchased the sealer and left it with my mom...but I'm sure it probably needs to be cleaned prior to sealing...right?!
