I echo everyone's sentiments Steve. As a newbie/lurker, I have enjoyed your website and kindly responses to Dis'ers questions. My family has had hours of enjoyment and it has added to our exitement for our upcoming trip to the Poly Lagoon View Concierge in March.

Steve, you so totally rock, dude, as my dd would say.
My major memory of my first trip to WDW as a child staying offsite was glimpsing the Polynesian in the distance, and wishing we had stayed there. Then when I saw your site, I knew I had to stay there. I requested first floor lagoon view Tahiti the first time on your recommendation, and loved it. Then, we tried lagoon view concierge. What can I say? Even though we just got back from a trip in December, we will be going again lagoon view concierge in early March. Certainly the Poly is not for everyone, but it is a nice fit for me and my family. We are pretty casual people, and I really feel the Poly fits us better than the GF, for example. Your site has made our family vacations so much better because we knew that before we even got there.

I just wanted to add my support as well. I've been on your site numerous times and I never got the feeling that you are trying to convince people that it's the best Disney resort. It's simply a website of great facts about the Polynesian which I enjoy tremendously. One can really tell that the Polynesian is dear to your heart and the warmth of your site is very evident.

Steve, I just want to say a big THANK YOU!!! Your site and all your info made our June 2003 trip to the Poly very special. I appreciate all your hard work. When we return to the Poly we will be using your info again. I don't like to read negative posts about Disney or the people on these boards I consider my "friends". Just want you to know that I very much appreciate what you do to help spread the Disney Magic!

Do you know how much work it probably took Tikiman to put all that together? I mean really, listings of rooms with the corresponding views, in depth historical information, tons of pictures....I just can't imagine anyone being upset after all that work to provide them with practically anything they would want to know about the resort. Just be proud of your accomplishment Tikiman. Not everyone will like the resort, but at least you've put the best possible information out there to help people.

I want to join the others in saying what a wonderful service you have given all of us with your wonderful website. What is wrong with people any more? Because of your site, we chose the Polynesian to take our 4 grown kids and 4 grandkids last September. Everything was perfect and much of that was due to the information I obtained on your site. I also can't imagine anyone not appriciating the work Steve has put into his site. I go there quite often and have used it as a guide in our two stays there. I even e-mailed Steve that he can use some of my pictures to place on his site from our last trip. Steve, I did not read the response that others had meantioned, but I do want to respond to your site. I have not been on these boards for about 6 months due to moving (packing/unpacking etc.) However, it was due to your web site that I stayed at the polynesion concierge level. We stayed there last May for 6 nights prior to going on the DCL. I can't say enough about the resort. We had a magical time and are planning to return again this Nov. If it wasn't for your site, I'm sure we wouldn't have had such a magical time. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Another big Tikiman supporter here!! I did not read the negative comments, but I know that it took a LOT of work for you to put your website together. I've been in love with the Poly since I first saw it in the 1970's and your website just brings me back to it every time I visit it!! In fact when we stayed concierge two years ago I got to talking with some of the CMS and they knew Tikiman! It was so cool, the CMS love his website also. I appreciate all the hard work it took, it's wonderful to be able to log on and find out what longhouse is non-smoking, etc. There are so many wonderful resorts in WDW that not everyone will like all of them and that's the point. We are long time DVC members who still stay at the Poly at least once a year. We need our Poly fix!!! So, Steve, thanks a bunch for all your hard work. There are many people who appreciate your website.

I, also would like to add my applause for Steve. Your Polynesian pages were the main reason that I began to stay at the Poly and return many times over the past few years. Many of us would be lost if not for your in-depth reports on the Poly. You're a star in my book. Threehearts
