Are you allowed to bring your own adult beverages to the pool areas? Also is tokelau GV a good choice . we are WDW first timers.

We usually stay in Tokelau GV. It is an equal distance to the TTC or the Monorail stop at the GCH. Several times we have gotten the view that overlooks the quiet pool.

As for alcoholic beverages -- they sell beers in cans and wine in bottles at the Poly gift shop, so I don't think they'd care if you brought it to the pool. They might have restrictions about glass containers near the pool, though. The pool bar uses plastic cups.

Yes, no one will stop you with your own beer or what ever and you can get it up at Samoa Snacks but I would also try the drinks at the barefoot bar.

Tokelau is a very good choice. It is next to the East pool and a short walk to the Volcano pool. It is also not far from the TTC (to get the Epcot monorail) and the GCH for food , shopping and the Resort monorail. The views are good on both sides of the longhouse and some have a slight view of the lagoon off to the side.
