I finally get back in room. She runs out and then dc's before we can trade anything. Big ARG!

Yes, she ran out of the pins. She did say they get 100 each day. I thought I had read there were only 100 total so at least I feel a bit better. I got all the way to the trading chair and the trade window popped up. Before I could ask for the lion pin, I got dc. Not good but it would have been much worse if I had been trading for the Tiki pin.

Fin thought I had DC I was taking so long .

You know it. Seriously, I had to do a quick search to find the pin I wanted
to trade. I buy about five of each new pin lately, so I don't worry if I
end up choosing one of them to trade.

Luckily, I was able to find the newest pin quick enough.

I was still in line when it closed (I got in around 8:40), and her room information didn't say she was out, but she offered tiki, zebra or toucan, and I took zebra.

Reformat the drive? But even then a good data recovery person still may be able to find one for you.

The thing that bothered me even more was Phinny was wearing the pin when she said she didn't have any left. If I hadn't gotten the old dc, I would have asked her to trade the one she was wearing. Yes, I'm being petty.

Obviously they are trying to create a limited market for the pins. Frankly, I think it is hard enough to get in the room so I think they should give everyone a pin that wants to trade for one. It’s only fair. I spent 3 solid hours trying to get into the trade room and never did.

Wow... I was just looking back everyone since i was looking for screenshots of past events. We are complaining about a long line... I'm absolutly grateful that we don't have DC anymore. Even though its a long line, at least you cant get pushed out of it
