Tiki Island Trades - Good Luck!

I waited until 5 minutes before tonight's trade event to log in to VMK. I immediately started searching for the room. When the room opened I got in line at number 27. I wanted to get in at the beginning because I've been disconnected very regularly today and I knew there was no way I was making it in from 49.

So it took Phinny 29 minutes to move 26 people through the trading line. I know because I disconnected at position 1 in the queue with 29 minutes on my VMK timer.

Good luck to you all! I won't be trying Phinny's trading event again tonight.

The only way I keep from dc'ing in the queue is to randomly wander the Dis boards heh. And of course, while in the room, waving doesn't help, because I dc'ed in the process of a wave. Hope everyone has better luck than I do.

I'm trying once tonight, and that's it. I'd rather spend my time building up credits via Fireworks than fight the unending battle with Mr. DC. Had enough of that with Team Baseball and the (evil!) quests over the weekend.

My rotten luck tonight - got in line on the first click - got through the line fast - got into the room to realize that I logged in as the wrong character - the one that had nothing of value on her at all! Arg!!

I got in line, waited about fifteen minutes, got into the trade room, moved ever so slowly up the lazy river, got into a trade window with Phinny, she said hi I said hi, then guess what happens! Yup, you guessed it, DC.

Back in line again. I don't know if I'll ever get that incredibly elusive pin

On a side note, if I send a message about this to the black hole, will they give me the pin by any chance?

I have finally gotten into the line. There are only 30 minutes left and I am behind 43 people. We will see how this goes. At least it forces me to do my homework while I wait!

That had to be at least two hours of waiting in that line for a pin you didn't even want? You're crazy. You're a good friend... but you are certifiably insane.
