I dragged my friend Jane and partner David on it four times in a row when we were there in March. I'm going back in January and I'm sure I'll see my lovely Tiki Birds several times again! It absolutely amazes me how the lines are never large for this when it's such a classic!
We loved the old Tiki Birds, and now love the new Tiki Birds. I worry that first timers to MK pass this attraction by and instead look for the thrill rides. They're missing so much "Disney!". The Tiki show should be a must for all visitors (even if only to rest those aching puppies.)
Ok I haven't seen this show in YEARS!! I would love to see it again with dd, but she can be VERY nervous about anything scary (like the dark) or scary animals or intense and really LOUD noise/music (of course 90% of Disney's attractions are loud).
Is it just the birds that yap and sing?? Is it really dark?? I just don't remember but I'd love to check it out again (for the record Mickey's Philharmonic scared the bejeebers out of her-we had to leave after the first 2 minutes!!) And, she's almost 6!!
There is dark, there is loud thunder booms and music and a newly added fully animated "tiki godess" that scared my little one. She freaked me out a little the first time I saw her
We could take it or leave it, but I like attractions like these to stay around as they give you a great place to get inside and relax for a while and take in the show.
Just saw this show for the first time in like 12 years last week. I really enjoyed it! It was really fun and the music was great to listen to. I'm glad I "forced" my neice into seeing this with me as she'd never seen it before and I knew it had changed since the last time I'd seen it.
