tight for time - can it all be done in a day

Ok we have become very tight for time (long story) but I had planned to buy our kids (21,21,18 &17) 2 days at the parks for there 21st and 18th bdays. But 2 days now looks unlikely - We go in fist half of August. If I get them the 1 day park to park and the unlimited express passes - How much can be done in that time. They will want to do all the major rides not bothered about shows.

Can this be done

If they are trying to hit all rides in both parks, it's unlikely they will have time for re-rides, so I wouldn't bother with the Unlimited express pass, personally.

the unlimited deal is the same as buying the 2 park 1 ride express pass. Would they not need some sort of express pass to get round both parks in august ( I know they probably wouldn't get to do rerides but would get it as the same price in case they wont to try and reride even one thing)

go to www.universalorlando.com and see what is in the parks.
have them figure out which rides they have to do and which rides they will ignore.

if they arrive before opening, and have a plan on which park to start with, they might get to finish the rides on their list.

won't be any express lines for FJ and a few others.
but SRL can be used for FJ.

if they know the layout of the parks, it will help streamline the time for catching the rides they must do.
