I hope she doesn't mind me posting this, but I do believe in the powers of prayers, pixie dust and good vibrations throughout the universe. I also know she has helped soooo many of us here, that I know there are lots of WISHers that would do what whatever we can help her.

Her DH went into the hospital today after having trouble catching his breath and a problem with his heart beats while he was working out. She said she was told he is okay, but they are keeping him for tests. She was headed to the hospital.

Please send your prayers for her husband's quick and complete recovery.

Whatever the problem, good they went to the hospital with the symptoms. It's probably not serious, but good to get checked. I just went through something like this with my dad, he had chest pains. It turned out he needed a procedure, but he was in and out! They work wonders in cardiology.

Oh thank you guys so much! I just got home and was ready to post to ask for pixie dust. Poor Ross! He is still in the emergency room, but thank goodness he is comfortable in a bed with a little blankie tucked around him.

He was playing racquetball today at lunch and he started to get short of breath (this happened about 6 months ago but he just blew it off). Anyway, he had an irregular heartbeat and a ski high pulse (his resting pulse is normally about 55-60). So he USED COMMON SENSE THIS TIME and asked his friend to take him to the ER. So far he hasn't heard much about what happened from the Dr., but his heart went into fribullations (or something like that) and the way the Dr. described it the bottom part of his hear is beating normally and the top part is beating like there are a bunch of pace makers attached to it all going in different sequences. So his blood wasn't pumping out of the chamber right. They did give him some medicine to help with that. Anyway, he is in over night to be monitored. His breathing is ok now, he doesn't feel faint and when I left his pulse was somewhere around 70ish (when I got there at 6:30 it was around 100 and that lasted for about an hour!) Poor guy.

Anyway, I am beside myself with worry now, not that I could do anything to help if I were with him at the hospital. Hopefully he will have a good nights sleep once he gets into a room and he will be seen by the cardiologist early (HOPEFULLY) because I just want him home!

My thoughts, positive energy and prayers are with you and Ross. You hang in there. He knows he is all right cuz he's in the middle of it all. It is most difficult to be left at home. Take care of you so you can be there for him when he is back home.
