Just curious, as I am finishing up making caramel apples for the neighborhood trick or treaters I was curious, is a Tigger Tail just marshmallow and orange chocolate coating with dark chocolate stripes or is there caramel involved?

Yes there is caramel. That's the first thing it's dipped in, then covered with the orange chocolate.

I guess I should try to make them some time. They are my son's must have on every trip.

Perfect because I have left over caramel, I am going to try and make them this afternoon!

MMMMM :) Tigger Tails are a must have on any DL trip! Now my chocolate Halloween candy doesn't seem so good anymore...

Two questions...

Can someone post a pic...

And where do you buy them?

I have a pic on my home computer that I can post for u to see later. You can purchase them at Marceline's Confectionery in Downtown Disney, Pooh Corner store that is located between Splash Mountain & the Pooh Ride, there is a store that sells sweets next to the Coke Corner on Main St. that is also connected to the Penny Arcade and they sell them there too, & Greetings in DCA. :goodvibes

Here's a pic of what they look like:

The one on the far right is the "Tigger" Tail. :tigger:

They also sell chocolate covered pretzels :goodvibes

 I need one of those immediately! Now I wish I would have stopped to get one on my last trip!

I have added them to my must have list for next week!

Yum, Yum!!

What a nice thing to do - but I hope you didn't waste your time and money. Many parents toss out "homemade" candy items for safety reasons and only let the kids eat store bought packaged items.

Yum! I can't believe in all the years we've been going to DL that we've never had those. Now I'll have something new to introduce the kids to next month. Thanks for sharing the pictures! :thumbsup2

We live in a small town and I actually package them for only people we know as well I put my name on them so parents remember where the apples came from

I think that is so thoughtful! :goodvibes I love it when my kids come home with treats that our neighbors make. They do up address labels with their info on it so the goodies don't get wasted. :thumbsup2

Good idea - I'm sure they appreciate that. That is so thoughtful and such a nice thing for you to do.

Yep, they also sell giant cookies and their caramel apples are Pooh themed. They have this cute one that is covered in a grey chocolate and they add a little Eeyore tail to it. It's really cute!! :goodvibes

I bought these from the Pooh store in Critter Country on Friday (11/3/06). I haven't tried them yet but they look good! It's caramel and chocolate fudge on a stick. Yummy!! :)
