We shared two cheshire cat tails this week and I brought one home in my purse - I'm obsessed with them LOL. I didn't try a Tigger tail though since I don't like orange flavored stuff.
We bought some for home also but refridgerated them at the hotel them in the cooler in a huge ziplaock bag for the trip home they tasted great and still fresh the ticket may be the refridgeration... no stale taste at all..... hope this help some who are driving flying im not sure how you would do it except maybe stick em in the fridge as soon as you get back to your hotel or even in the freezer section and freeze em so they will hold the cold a lil longer for your flight!!!!
Just wanted to let you know about our experience a few weeks ago. We bought Tigger Tails as we were leaving the park to bring home. Picked them up around 2:30pm, put them in ziploc bags so they'd stay fresh, and then ate them the next morning. Their freshness factor went WAY down. The orange color had dulled slightly and it was starting to crack a bit. I was surprised how quickly they began tasting stale. We still ate them but they weren't nearly as good.
That's so strange! Chocolate shouldn't get stale that quickly. Nor should carmel or marshmallows. I've never had a Tigger Tail but plan on trying one in June and bringing one home for the family if I like it. Hope I have better luck getting it back!
My DD's love tigger tails and we hauled some home in our luggage after our last trip and had them after we got home. I would guess they were two or three days old by the time we got to them and they tasted just fine. A little squished from the trip in the suitcase but tasty still. I wouldn't worry about them going stale.
Well I already posted my experience, ours lasted 3 or 4 days before we finished them and they weren't stale. Sure they weren't as good as fresh but they were fine to eat.
I hate orange flavoured chocolate and loved tigger tails. I had to try them after reading about them here before our last trip. It's like a cavity on a stick, but soooo good.
You hit the nail on the head. Cavity on a stick!!! I sent my daughters out to Disneyland with money for dinner one night while DH and I had dinner at Steakhouse 55. When we met back up with them and inquired what they had for dinner they replied "two tigger tails each"

LOL!! It's amazing they didn't go into a sugar coma!!!
I've always had a sweet tooth, but I couldn't eat more than about 4 bites of the Tigger Tails we made at home (which were the same size as the ones at DLR, but minus the orange flavoring). After about the same amount of bites, each of my kids started looking a little green, and saying, "I don't feel so good..." HAHAHAHAHA!!! That's why we're making "mini" Tails to bring on our trip this time.

I may have to give it a try and see what happens. I hope that by putting them in our cooler for the drive home, this might keep them "fresher" longer. We'll see....
Everyone's opinion on the Tigger Tail is Great! It's awesome how some would go to DLR and the Tigger Tail is a must have item on their list. LOVE IT ALL!!
My boyfriend and I have passes, so we went back Friday the 28th (Memorial Weekend). My bf wanted one, so we just HAD to get one. This time around we only bought one because I did not want to overwhelm myself with sweets. I think we will be buying Tigger Tails often.
I took one home by plane in my carry on. It tasted just as good as the one I had in the park. It was a couple days old. Should have brought home more than just one
As far as food is concerned, I think that trying new things is a must in order for someone to have an opinion. As soon as I heard about the TTs, I made sure I tried one. Although, I think they're not for everyone (too gooey and cloyingly sweet for my taste), I am happy I tried them once.
