Which would you pick for the ROL dining package tiffins or tusker house?
We are all adults and have never dined at either. Food quality at tusker house is major concern.

If you want to be able to eat instantly-tusker house.
If you want to order something specific-tiffins.

If you want a more ‘adult’ quieter meal:tiffins.
If you want characters:tusker house.

We like the food at both.

I think it’s a case of looking at menus and deciding what kind of dining experience you all wish to have.

Food quality at TH is typically better than other character buffets, IMHO. That being said, the food quality at Tiffins is still superior to TH. If you don't care about price point, I would pick Tiffins.

Tiffins has a lovely lounge and beautiful dining rooms. The menu has returned - somewhat - to its African roots. I would vote Tiffins.

Tiffins is such a cool restaurant and the food is fantastic. Take a walk around the restaurant so much to see.

Depends. If you're not sure about the menu, Tusker House has the buffet, so you can sample, and get more if you like it. It's one of my favorites, for any meal. The character interaction is usually excellent, ranging from full involvement to waving as they go by if you indicate you don't need them to come visit.

I was less than thrilled by Tiffins, but if the menu has changed (again) it might be worth doing. My complaint wasn't really the food; rather the miniscule portion size and the extremely poor service (our party of 2 geezers apparently wasn't as 'interesting' as the party of 4 young-ish single males 🤣). DH won't go back, but I'm willing to try it again.

Tiffins is our favorite food on Disney property. Tusker House is our least favorite buffet--we were hoping for more interesting food but it was all very bland and VERY loud and chaotic.

Tusker House is nowhere close to as interesting as it might sound on paper. If I didn't care about characters, I wouldn't choose it. If you DO want the characters, then do Tusker House. I wouldn't choose TH for the food. You'll find decent food at TH, as with (generally) any buffet if you know how to navigate a buffet, but don't get romanticized into thinking you're going to get some dreamy curries, or nicely made falafel. You'll be eating the safe roasted meats and mashed potatoes after laughing at all of the watered down Disney interpretations of "exotic foods." You go to TH for the characters, not the food. I will say this, at both TH, and CM, the roasted turkey, beef, and salmon, and chicken were excellent. Especially the roasted chicken at Tusker House.

Tiffins! No one in our party of adventurous eaters like Tusker House at all during our trip last year. The food was like a cheap highway buffet IMO

I do like both restaurants. It all depends on what your group wants. A fun meal with characters and a great buffet....or....a fancier sit down (more expensive) meal at Tiffins?

Keep in mind that in my experience at Tiffins, while it was delicious, our party did find the portions to be slightly on the small side. A lot of us left somewhat unsatisified. But the flavours in their dishes is pretty amazing, so thats a huge bonus. But if you have big eaters, im not sure Tiffins is the best choice lol.

We've given TH a couple of tries and have been extremely disappointed each time. It's been moved to our never again list. Yes, I know people love it and rave about it, but it's just been bad for us. Tiffins, on the other hand, was absolutely wonderful. The package also is a lot of food when you dine at Tiffins. We left completely stuffed.

We have enjoyed Tusker House, which can have pretty good food and very fun character interactions, but... Tiffins Tiffins Tiffins!

Just like some previous posters, this is my favorite restaurant at WDW and is an absolute must-do for our family, even if just the Nomad lounge for a quick visit. Tiffins can be a long meal, but for us that is what AK is all about, kicking back and soaking up the amazing atmosphere. We have always had outstanding service there too. And for the ROL dining package, we are definitely going for the Surf & Turf to get our money's worth!

If its all adults and you don't care about meeting the characters, then Tiffins.
TH is one of the better Character buffets.
Both are good, but the food at Tiffins is much better.

We were at Tusker House a couple of weeks ago for arrival day lunch, it was really good. The curries were surprising. But Tiffins is in another league altogether. The only disappointment was the huge downpour the night we went to Tiffins which led to the ROL being cancelled.

After a disappointing first try at Tiffins last winter, we tried again with the FOTLK package in May. It was awesome! The food was delicious, great apps and strong entrees. We didn't love the dessert as much, but we were really too full anyway. I would definitely recommend Tiffins.

We have done TH for breakfast/lunch and really enjoy it, but it's a very different experience.

Also, don't skip Nomad Lounge! That is one of my favorite places in the World. You might go there for drinks and apps and call it a meal.

I would have said Tiffins without a second thought, until my last meal there. It wasn't terrible, but it was not the fantastic food that I had before. The menu had changed, but I had at least one item the same and it was only okay this time whereas the time before it was amazing. It didn't feel worth the price this past time. Other members of my group would probably disagree. I don't know if there was a different chef? Be prepared for a long meal. The ambiance is really neat and superior to Tusker House, except for Donald. Tiffins needs a pensive Donald to chill at a corner table while quietly sketching.

I tried Tiffins for the first time on my trip last month, because I met up with local friends who love it, and was grossly underwhelmed. Tbh I enjoyed my Sat’uli bowl at lunch way better, not to mention it was a way better value. It’s not even that I don’t like fine dining experiences, because I enjoy them from time to time living in NYC, but that was blandest food I’ve ever had. No idea what the hype is about this place.

This is an apples to oranges comparison, but I’d take Tusker House any day.
