While I suppose I'll have to live with the fact that there aren't any chicken nuggets or cheeseburgers , I am REALLY looking forward to trying this place!! Cod, prawns, beet salad... sounds tasty to me...!

I was going to say much the same thing, hoping it does not devolve into nuggets, burgers, and pizza. But after after hearing that Skippers Canteen in MK is supposedly getting ready to dumb-down the menu, one can only hope this does not. As soon as I can book it linked to either Jungle Book or RoL in November, I will.

Skippers Canteen seems like it has had an identity crisis from Day 1. And no reservations?? Then same-day reservations?? I honestly can't be bothered with that. I like having my dining plans set.

You can't get reservations for Skippers Canteen? I check every day and it says no availability. We are going in October and I've been trying since my 180 day mark. Same day reservations only? that's so weird.

I think so, too. I believe that's still the way it is (same-day reservations only). I don't really get it.

I think that more adventurous eaters are probably more into planning their WDW food options, and this doesn't give them the opportunity to. Seems strange.

Skippers only offers same-day reservations. No ADRs.

I can't wait for this menu!

I love prawns (with or with out head on) and my fiance is excited about the octopus entree. I just hope this doesn't go the rumored way of Skipper's Canteen. We were excited for that menu as well because finally food with great spices and complex flavors but now by the time we get there it may be just another dry steak, chicken nuggets and burger place.

The one thing that I saw that may be on the "ew" factor for me but my future father-in-law would love is the head cheese. I would order the chicken pate but head cheese is where I draw my line. Still might try it just for the pate.

This menu seems to be missing the kids' meals. The prices posted for the dining package have separate prices for adults and kids, so I'm thinking there has to be kids choices, right?

Looking forward to this restaurant opening actually. About a week or so ago we were hanging out at Rose & Crown and poke to one of the managers for this location and they were telling us about their menu.

Nice to have another option at Animal. Where I like the Yak & Yeti and Rain but it gets old eating there nearly every trip to Animal. Plus, I like some of the offerings on their menu so I am looking forward to trying those at Tiffins.

Excited for this! There is plenty of food to be had elsewhere in the park if these menu items don't appeal to everyone (though aside from the head-on shrimp, nothing is really too "out there" - roast chicken, lamp chops, pork tenderloin and steak are pretty much staples on every Disney signature restaurant menu, and spices and preparations are rarely over-the-top in spite of what some of the descriptions might imply). I don't think there will be any issues with demand.
