We are trying to do some different things on our October 2018 4 Days Trip . We liked the menu .Is their a view of any animals .? Is it a place that is real Adultish ( Sorry if that’s not a proper word) will have 11 & 13 yrs. old Boys too.

The two main Tiffins' dining rooms are without windows IIRC. They are themed around the process of designing a theme park, so while there are drawings of animals (and places and things) it isn't something that young children will necessarily "get". If relevance in the minds of young children is a priority, I wouldn't choose Tiffins.

Age 11 is probably old enough to "get" what the theme is about. However, when the boys in our family were 11 and 13, they wouldn't have appreciated what Tiffins offered.

The Nomad Lounge is attached, with views of the walkway and bridge to Pandora. But still no where is there views of live animals.

We have taken kids younger than that to Tiffins. DD was almost 5 the first time she went. DS was 3 and DD was 6 on a different trip. You can not see any animals.

If you want a chance to see animals while eating you will need to go to Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge (Kidani).

Both restaurants are excellent and I would recommend them.

I cannot recommend Sanaa enough! It's one of my favorite restaurants to bring anyone who visits from out of town. The food is delicious, and you get to see giraffes, zebras, and crested cranes while you eat. If you ask nicely for a spot by the window when you check in, they'll usually find a way to accommodate you.

As others have said, there are no windows in Tiffins, so no view of anything. It is not an overtly adult atmosphere. My DS has been going there since he was 8 and we never felt uncomfortable. If you'd like something a little "livelier" you can go to Nomad Lounge which is right next door where they offer a small plates menu plus the Tiffins menu. They have the best drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) on WDW property, IMHO. Or, as others have recommended, go to Sanaa during daylight. The food is great and you will have a view of animals there!

We took our 4 yr old to Tiffins twice on our last trip. No view of animals, but there is animal decor. He didn't really care about the theme of the restaurant, but that would have been true almost anywhere except maybe Coral Reef. He ate the food both times, was pretty well behaved, and we had a lovely meal. There were other young children there both times we were there, although the vibe is definitely quieter and mature. I think at 11 and 13, your kids will probably be much calmer at any dining table than my 4 yr old, lol.

I see others mentioned Sanaa. We ate there for the first time this last trip and we loved it! All the AK Resort sit-downs are good options, in our opinion.

At 11 my DGD would have enjoyed dinner, however the atmosphere would have had no effect on her, one way or the other. If you are choosing a meal to please tweens, this probably is not it. I agree that if animals are in your priority list try Sanaa.

Tiffins is a really nice restaurant and we go every trip. You cannot see the animals from the restaurant. The decor inside is very nice.

Thank You to All. Great Suggestions . We do have Resv. At Sanaa at 7 pm then going on at night Safari at 9:45 . It’s going to be a long Fun Day .
