We just got back from WDW. We used Tiffany towncar to get from MCO to the Contemporary. I would definitely recommend their service except for this one problem. We have 15 month old twins who are 20 and 22 pounds (not yet walking). We did not want to have to bring 2 car seats. When I made ressies they told me they would send 2 car seats with the driver. I made sure that they would be car seats and not booster seats. I even called the day before to confirm. Well when the driver pulley around what do you think he had? BOOSTER SEATS! It was pretty upsetting because it is quite against the law-plus not that safe for small children to be in boosters (they were the kind without a back). My husband and I did not know what to do. Being in the moment with all of our luggage in the van and not really being able to sort out the options (you know the feeling), we loaded our kiddos in the boosters. We asked the driver to please bring CAR SEATS when he picked us up. He assured us he would. But 8 days later, he arrived with the same BOOSTERS! So definitely use the service, but bring your own car seats no matter how much trouble it is. Hope this helps someone.

We had a similaar problem with IBEX. My daughter was 2 1/2 at the time. I speciically requested a car seat. When they picked us up at the airport theey had a booster.. Ok
But when they came back to the hotel NOTHING. We were stuck. Had to let her use a seat belt..My heart was in my throat.

Last summer we used Tiffany to WDW. I had specifically requested the small van with one carseat when I made my reservation (we were 4 adults, 1 child and 2 sets of golf clubs--not able to fit in a towncar). When we arrived at MCO we walked up to a towncar with no carseat. I had explained what our reservation request was and within about 15 minutes a van pulled up with a carseat in it. I wanted to tell you this so you know they can rearrange and change things if need be. I know the feeling of "jeez we're here and let's just get to the hotel, it's a quick trip" but my husband talked me into requesting a replacement and waiting for it, and I'm glad we did it.

I think next time if they showed up with booster seats I would call and tell the manager I would not be getting into the car until I had the seats promised and they would be paying for late airline arrival if missed, and another nights stay.

Child safety is our number one priority in our car at home. Our friend's child was severly hurt when she just ran up to the store which is like 1 min from our home, with her child sitting in only a lap belt, because her husband had the carseat in his car. She still feels guilty to this day. I have known limo drivers to not be the safest of drivers in my experience. Their goal is how many people can they get to the airport in one day, not your childs life.

I would personally call them and tell them what happened and ask for a refund!

We had the same problem with Tiffany two years ago. I specifically requested two carseats for the drive to the hotel and the driver showed up with one. Well, we certainly couldn't put one child in a car seat and the other not in one. We waited for an hour at the airport for someone to bring another carseat. I was definately disappointed - our return trip was much better and the driver had two carseats, so that worked out well. We will rethink using them again the next time.

In their defense... It doesn't always happen.
We used Tiffany last summer, requested a car seat and it was ready and waiting when they picked us up, both to and from. It was full size.

We used Yourride in May and requested an infant car seat and they actually showed up with the right seat. I was very impressed because I have read on this board of problems with car seats and town car services. Yourride even had a computer with a DVD player on it and was playing Shrek for the kids on the ride. It was really a nice touch. I would definitely recommend Yourride.

Used their service 2 or 3x per year over the past 5 years and the service has always been wonderful. The driver always meet us at baggage claim, helps with luggage and stops for groceries. Our first few trips we required both a traditional car seat and a booster and always got what we wanted. Now we just need a booster and again - all set. On one trip they called to tell me they had only a booster available on our arrival day and see if that would be a problem. Since dd was 4 that was fine with us! From what our last driver told us they always have a booster (no back) in the trunk but you have to specificly request a "traditional" harness type seat in advance. HTH
