I checked out the web site, but I didn't see anything about it. Does TT allow a quick stop at Publix or another store for a few quick items?? And another question, do grocery stores or gas station/convienent marts sell beer in FL? Up here in MA I don't think any supermarkets sell beer, but in NH they do. Thanx in advance!

We just used Tiffany, in June, and got a grocery stop (Publix). When I put in my reservation, I noted that we wanted the stop. They sell beer there.

We used Tiffany in January...no problem w/the grocery stop...just let them know ahead of time so they can schedule accordingly. We loved being able to have water, soda, and snacks in the room and not having to pay through the nose all the time...shook our heads at those people using the vending machines.

We're using Tiffany next week. I made the reservation a long time ago, but just called to request a grocery store last week. I was/am so excited that we'll be stopping there!

We've always used Tiffany and they're very good and reliable. Yes to the grocery stops and beer. You won't go wrong using them. I would reccomend them to anyone....Do let them know ahead of arrival that you wish to stop though.

We (party of 2 adults and one child) will be needing transportation from Orlando Airport to Pop Century and a pickup from Old Key West to the Airport.

It seems that a town car service may be the best way to go and comparable to the Mears Shuttle in pricing.

I have read about Happy Limo (their quoted rate does not include a $10 each way gratuity that is added in). I have also read that Florida Tours, Transportation2Disney, and Tiffany are good services.

Can anyone comment on these? We are looking at stopping at a grocery store such as Publix. Last summer we made our way to what I think was called Goodings (near Hotel Drive) and it was highway robbery!

Thanks for any input.

We used tiffany in april. Berkley is our favorite driver. We get a van for our family of 5. I requested the grocery stop on the reservation form. When he picked us up, I told him, I really only wanted soda/drinks and not food. He took us to the hess mini mart right across from the swan/dolphin. They don't have certain brands since its on disney property (their contract with co. supplier). We got a few cases and were on our way. Tiffany is great. Never had a problem except for a quiet driver once.

We have used TT for years.

I just booked on them and here is the quote:

"You will be greeted by our driver in the baggage claim area. The driver will assist you with your luggage and take you directly to your destination, where the driver will confirm your departure information"

I am scared by the word "directly"

I never remember seeing that before. I will be calling them and if they no longer make the stop we will be using somebody else.

The grocery stop is one of the best reasons to take a towncar. If they don't want to do it anymore, I'm sure somebody will.

We're using tiffany next week. When I made the reservation, I noted in the comments section that we were requesting a grocery stop. When we got our confirmation, there was no mention of the grocery stop, so to be on the safe side, I called last week, and they told me yes, they have the notation that we requested a grocery stop. This is our first grocery stop (only our second time using a limo service) so this will be an experience!:wave2:

They still do the grocery stop as requested, just like before.

The "directly" is simply to let you know you won't be waiting for other people, or making additional stops like a Mears-type transportation option.

i would recommend also that you call before you leave to confirm the grocery stop. we used tiffany's twice with the stop and were happy, but on our 3rd trip the driver insisted we hadn't booked it:eek: i asked her to call the office and they did(at least we think she did:confused: ) and she told us no again and refused to stop! when we got home i sent an e-mail to tiffany's and was answered. they said i should have called and notified them of this during our trip. i was not satisfied however, by then we were already at our resort and i was worried we wouldn't get picked up on time for our return trip to the airport if i complained:( i told them i hadn't tipped the driver because she wouldn't stop, they said good then guess she'd have learned her lesson:confused: it was not a good experience, and i will not use tiffany's again, i was happy with FT on our last trip. we did have 2 good trips before this, but just wanted to let you all know that it is a good idea to double-check the grocery stop before you go!

Please be advised that you only get 20 minutes for your grocery stop. It used to be 30, but this year it has gone down to 20. Our driver gave us an aisle-by-aisle list of Publix to familiarize yourself. I managed to fly thru and spend $140 in 20 minutes.

Are you looking for something specific? Publix is a grocery store so they have most of the items you find in any grocery store. There is also a bakery and deli in Publix. Deli has some prepackaged food like deli meat and different salads (egg, potato, macaroni, et). You can also get subs in the deli area, made to order. Last year, I took my sis there and she got the fried chicken meal for her family.

Yeah, we're only looking for a 30 pack of beer, a case of Mt Dew, and some other small munchies like PB crackers & stuff. Most important is the beer though, we wouldn't stop if they didn't sell it. :)

Is there a certain store I can request they stop at that is not owned or on Disney property? I need to find a store that sells Diet Mt. Dew or I will have to ship some down. Anyone know of such a place? Thanks!

We used Tiffany and stopped at Publix. It isn't on Disney property. It's a supermarket, just the ones you have where you live. I don't know, though, if they sold Diet Mt. Dew. I know they had the regular Mt. Dew so I would assume they also carried the diet.

Can anyone tell me is it better to do curb service for our grocery order or go in and get when using Tiffany's service? I don't want to go over the 20 min if I do an online order I can either do curb service or go in and get.

Instacart handles pulling your order. I believe there is a fee and/or prices may be marked up

Download the Publix app. You can set up a shopping list. The app tells you what aisle.

Some car services reserve rhe right to skio your grocery stop if your flight is delayed
