Tiffany town cars, ringing to confirm?

Last year when we booked Tiffany's the confirmation e-mail asked us to ring 24hrs prior to leaving to confirm we were still coming. This year however there is no such mention of calling. Is this correct? Have they changed their policy or should we still give them a ring?

We used them earlier this month. We didn't call to confirm, yet they were there for us! (I DID call them a few weeks before our trip to confirm a grocery stop, but not 24 hrs. before our trip.)

I always play it safe. Give them a call. It can't hurt.
