We've never flown to WDW and are inexperienced with towncars.
I had pretty much made up my mind this summer to use Yourride for our November trip, but since Rabbit sold the company, I've been reading mixed reviews and am not sure about them. Has anyone used them recently or Tiffany? Also, I'd love the names of your drivers- good and bad. I definitely would like to request a driver- I know it's not guaranteed- but I'd like a shot at a good experience.
Thank you!

I arranged a trip for my daughter with Tiffany based on recommendations of friends who used Tiffany and like their service. My daughter had a good experience but had a little trouble with the grocery stop. Apparently no one from the main office told the driver they would need a stop. The driver was very accomodating and made the grocery stop for my daughter. Be very specific regarding what you want when you make your reservations and call back to confirm shortly before you go. I think you can have a good or bad experience with any outfit. I would suggest tipping the driver for good service on the way to WDW and again on the return. Perhaps $10-12 each way. Between my family and my two friends families we have had multiple good trips with Tiffany. Good Luck!

we have used happy limo for the past five years and we are very happy with the service. tiffany is a good company as well but they only have five town cars and no stretch limousines. they use what you call the sub contractors (different people who pay tiffany certain amount a week and get the job) I know this coz i come to orlando alot on business and one of the limo driver told me behind the scene stories. go to a web site mousesavers.com and you will get more info on happy limo and a discount code or coupon code. or just mention mousesavers, they will give you the discount. They have brand new fleet of limos.vans and sedans.:bounce:

We used Tiffany twice and were always more than satisfied. The last time we landed at MCO in the aftermath of 9-11 (9-15, to be precise) on one of the first flights coming in from Europe via Philly and even though we were a couple of ours late we had our driver from Tiffany waiting for and everything went smoothly.
No question: We booked them again for this year!!

Alpha: Even though you obviously work for HappyLimo, you should try to advertise a bit more subtle or become an official sponsor of the DIS

We've used TT twice now. The first time there were 6 of us traveling. We booked a van. But when we got to the airport, there was a stretch limo waiting for us!! Nice way to start our trip. In August we used them again and since there were just 3 of us we got a towncar. Very clean. Driver was prompt. Not very cheery on the trip to WDW but he was quite pleasant on the trip back. We would use them again.

I think you work for yourride or they are paying you to monitor this site... I never said people on DIS are stupid, you just made yourself look stupid! Since when do you have to register with DIS to use happylimo or any other transportation company? DA!!!
I could have used happy limo for 10 years and never register or leave comments about the company... or should I wait a few years to leave comments about my experiences?!! hhmmmmn
I was doing this to kill time... why are you so worried??? some thing to hide??? I am comming to orlando next month, i will ask my limo driver about you, can't be too many rabbits running around in orlando.

Hi Rabbit. :)

We have used YourRide for the last four trips in just over a year's time. We were very pleased each time. Jim has been a Gem. ;) (The last time even being under the new owners.)

No complaints here!
Our group had Mike of 'Yourride' last Dec with excellent service. Last week we had Kalim and Julio with 'Cartier Towncars' and also had excellent service. I can't say enough how nice it is to have a driver waiting too and fro - thankfully eliminating a lot of stress for us. They both have discount coupons on their website.
Good luck!

Alpha,

You crack me up!!!

"I am comming to orlando next month" I think you just exposed yourself right there.

Who is the world says "I'm comming to Orlando?" I think you would say "I'm going to Orlando." People say I'm going on vacation, I'm going here or there.

You only say coming when you are already in the place you are taking about, and someone is coming to visit you. Maybe thats why it was so easy to slip and say that because you are already in Orlando, hmmm.

As a owner of an Internet business I hate it when people get on boards and slam their competition, and try to make their company look better ALL under a fake identity.

Pay to advertise, or at least give helpful information. If you can't stay off the boards.

Be carefull, what you are doing may backfire on you.

I agree with you that it does look suspicious.......he is also a 19 year old sales manger from Pakistan, that was an exchange student at Disney and also worked for a limo company "one summer"..maybe a language barrier? Done a lot in his 19 yrs! His 13 posts have all been in the transportation boards trashing Yourride & promoting Happy Limo........Interesting!
someone mentioned yourride for transportation? I have been reading some very bad comments on them on DIS, this company had alot of problems before and since it has been sold to some one else, i have not seen much good about them. They were kicked off this site, from what i have red.

not trying to jump into the fray...

we've used Tiffany...and Yourride.

Short version:
Tiffany was AWFUL.

Yourride was AWESOME. We were looking forward to seeing Rabbit again this year, but even with his departure, we will reserve with Yourride...they definately know their stuff!!!!

There are 5 of us dh, myself and the 3 ds. The ds like a friendly driver, I prefer a safe and prompt one. We have used tiffany for the past 3 years. Sometimes you do not get the same driver for the return part of the trip. This past aug. we had amin going to wdw (very nice and friendly) , he told little ds, get ready the magic is about to begin when we came close to the mk sign etc. and I dont know the guy going back. He was quiet. But he was safe. Our favorite guy is Berkley. I requested him this time but we didnt get him. We get a van because we cant fit into the towncar. They automatically had a child seat in it. Didnt need that. They are always prompt and always waiting there for us.

We've used Tiffany a few times and no problem any of them. Had same driver both ways.

Hi Tink2,
:) Thank you for your posting. Being new to the Dis Boards I need all the suggestions and help that I can get. I did not realize all the towncars and preferences there would be to choose from. My sister and I had been wondering about whether with a group of 8 the bus or a towncar would be best, we decided on a towncar, now its just a matter of which one! I can tell each person has their favorite just like anything else! ;) No matter which one we end up choosing I am sure it will be an experience we will not forget. We still have 11 months before we go on vacation and I can hardly wait! I'm just happy to be able to go to WDW again! I feel so lucky.:)

We always use Tiffany now. Our most memorable driver was Darcy. Very nice and informative. We went back 1.5 yrs later and got him again..no request..and he remembered us. He remembered what I went back to school for and the field my DH was in. He was great. He does not work there all the time but helps out frequently..he said something about his sister's company..don't know if she is Tiffany.
