Tiffany luggage space?

Hello - I just booked a Town Car online with Tiffany for the 1st time for 3 adults. I said we'd have 3 carry on size rollerboards plus 3 personal bags. They replied back saying that for the amount of luggage we have, we'd need to upgrade to an SUV. Does that seem right to any of you who have booked a similar trip? Are the town cars that small? Could it be because we've asked for the grocery stop? I will call them later, but just wondering what others have done. Thanks!

I'm thinking that they are concerned about 3 adults plus your 3 personal bags fitting in the back/front seat. It's possible that they are overestimating the size of your personal bags (as I am assuming that they are backpack type sizes that would go on your lap) and/or not realizing you said 3 CARRY ON size suitcases for the trunk. Then add in the grocery stop and I can see it. I'm sure if you explained that the 3 suitcases would go in the trunk and the 3 personal bags would go on laps, and you aren't picking up 5 bags of groceries, you'd be okay. They are probably just trying to cover their own butt as I can only imagine the chaos that ensues when people have too much luggage and it can't all fit.
