Tiffany/Child Seat

Does Tiffany TownCar provide a child safety seat? Does FL even require safety seats for kids?

I believe they require safety seats up to 5 years of age or 40 pounds, but don't quote me on that. I saw a thread recently about the law, you may want to do a search.

We used TTC our last trip and requested a car seat with reservations and there was one in the town car. Double check when you reserve your town car.

Not sure about Florida law, but we used Tiffany in January and although we brought our car seat with us the driver did have one in the trunk just in case.

I would call though, just to be sure.

Does Tiffany only have booster seats? We used them in September and that is what they had for my 21 month old. My daughter really didn't fit well in it. For our return trip, we had a different driver and he did not have a car seat with him so she had to use just the seat belt, which she kept trying to climb out of. We're thinking of using them again, but I don't want the same thing to happen again. I did request a car seat when I made the reservations. Is there anything else I can do?

Florida law, according to our Tiffany driver, states that your child does NOT have to be in a car seat or booster on public transportation. Tiffany is considered public transportation.

Three out of the 4 times we requested a car seat the driver brought one. They weren't exactly what I would call stellar seats but did the trick. One time the driver didn't have one but fortunately I had brought one so pulled it out and used it. He said he knew I was traveling with one and didn't have one available. Uh-huh!!!

Anyways, I'm told by Tiffany that they will provide you with a car seat if you request it. I always call the day before and remind them.

But, according to the law, they don't have to be in one. That must be how Disney gets away with no seat belts and car seats on their buses. Hope that helps.

They had a booster seat on the way there and the way back the van had a booster seat and a car seat, we used the car seat for my 3 year old(in 1 week) since he was sleeping on the way back to the airport.
