Tiering at Epcot

I've never seen CS be a walk-in, we've always had to wait 20-30 minutes unless we rushed right there at RD. Though we usually go during pretty busy times. Glad to see it's no longer a Tier 1, just wish they had done this before our trip last March.

We went to it two different evenings (5-6ish). It was walk-in. No waits at all. Not sure how it was during the day. But, there were FP's available for the current time, or just a little after when we checked the Kiosks.

We will be in Epcot from about 5pm-11pm this day (and our first FP+ will be for Soarin').

Don't know about Turtle Talk, but Maelstrom and Spaceship Earth were walk on in the evenings last week.

I would suggest getting on the MDE app in the evenings and look to see the current wait times. If it is showing 5 minutes, it is walk on....

That is awesome news about Maelstrom. We have a half day for Food & Wine on our arrival day and I can now book Maelstrom and Illuminations on the same day. I think I will book Spaceship Earth also and will hit it on the way into the park. I just have to figure out the timing from our arrival on Magical Express to WL to Epcot. If I see I am going to miss the Fastpass window can I go on the MDE app and switch to a later time if it's available?

That makes me a little sad

I loved the days when the Fab 5 were there and you might end up with Chip&Dale or another surprise character at the end! (Then they moved those crazy chipmunks outside!) Having the AC and the Photopass photographers made this such a great place to find everyone, especially with younger children.

Its been a few years since we were there, our last two trips have been to DL, but this was always a MUST DO for us. With only 3 characters, I'm not so sure!

It used to be worse when Donald and Pluto met. Since it moved and you can't see inside, we have never waited longer than 5 minutes. With or without FP.

The day we went at the end of July last year we got to CS about 11 am and there was no wait. I was shocked. We got up to Mickey and I was fumbling for the autograph books because I expected a wait and to have time to get them out and Mickey ended up running up to us.
When we were with Pluto there was no one ahead of us with Minnie and she ended up video/photo bombing us as we were getting our picture with Pluto !

Oh sigh, this makes me so sad that we can never go during slower seasons! I can't even imagine what the park would feel like on a day that CS had less than a 30 minute wait. Heck, I can't imagine what any of the parks would feel like on a day when ANYTHING had less than a 30 minute wait, lol!

I agree with this! Due to having to travel during school breaks we are always going when the place is absolutely bonkers! LOL....seems like that should be the cheaper season. Darn supply and demand theory.

Yes, just open the MDE and change the time. Spaceship is usually available.
