Happy owners, even those who purchased 30 years ago, likely are the best marketing platform/engine for
DVC. I'm sure guides love having people visit them who have gotten hyped up by friends/family telling them how awesome it's to be an owner.
Look, I'm still getting all of these perks and free stuff 30 years after I purchased......
I know I've had a few discussions while making our way though the line for peter pan when people ask us what is that vacation club thing on your backpack at DLR. I always tell them if they have the money it's a great (but a bit pricy) way to get regular hits of pixie dust.
