Hey guys! Now that we DON'T have to choose 3 fastpasses at a time, can I choose one Tier 1 attraction and then another Tier 1 attraction after I have used my first FP?

no, you need to burn 2 other fastpasses before you can go back into getting tier 1. (trick, get something the same day, move it up, scan your band but don't ride, then do it again for the next ride and you'll get through 3 of them in a few minutes.)

edit to add: the parks that let you get more than 1 tier1 you can do that and prebook them. it's really only epcot where it's in the way.. to be honest it doens't take that long to just stand in line for the others and FEA lately has grossly incorrect wait times and usually much faster to ride than you think).

Sounds Good!! THANK YOU!!!!!

forgot to add, they do stop you from getting more than 1 of the same tier 1 ride on the same day, never tried it with a tier2 ride.

That isn't true. The system alerts that you've used your Tier 1 for a specific ride, but, a guest just needs to proceed beyond the Alert/Warning and any Tier 1 ride can be booked even if it's a duplicate of the first Tier 1 that was booked.

It's been addressed in other threads.

ah, I guess I never tried to proceed.. sorry for the incorrect info.

ok, so I will be able to book a second tier 1 after I have used my 3 FP+ reservations for the day. I am planning on doing HS early and then I am hoping to get Soarin or TT at Epcot for later that day. I know the availability will be an issue but I want to make sure that this is possible.

Yes. When park hopping, if you only choose 1 FP (Tier 1) at DHS, book for Epcot when you are in the FP line at DHS. You can book your last 2 at Epcot and 1 can be a Tier 1.

Please read the FP FAQ Addendum Sticky for park hopping as the rules are different for Tier 1s when hopping.

Yep. As soon as you scan your MB at your 3rd FP in HS you can jump on the app and book either a tier 1 or tier 2 FP at Epcot.

Hmm. Just wondering about the attractions that have a 2nd FP touchpoint at the end of the line. Can you book your next FP after scanning at the 1st touch point or the 2nd? Im splitting hairs at this point but I'm just curious.

I'm not sure if any Attractions still have a 2nd touchpoint. If they do, you'd have to wait until you're beyond the 2nd point.

So I don't have to use all 3 FP's before I book another FP at a different park? For example, If I choose a FP for Rockin Rollercoaster (Tier 1), scan my band to get onto the attraction, I can select more FP's for a different park at that point? I was under the assumption that I needed to use my first 3 FP's at the same park then you can choose additional FP's for a different park (one by one of course).

Yes to all your questions.

Everything is explained in the FP FAQ ADDENDUM Sticky. There's a Park hopping post. :)

You actually don't need to wait for the second checkpoint. I've tested multiple times and the system recognizes your FPP as "used" once you scan at the first. Only ones I can think of off the top of my head that have the second are 7DMT, Space, RnRC & ToT.
