Tie dye t-shirt questions?

I read about the soda ash. I bought some dental floss. I made sure it was not mint, but does it matter if it is wax. Also do you use just one thread or is it doubled? Do you pull the mickey head before you soak in the soda ash? Sorry lots of questions. Thanks

The dental floss should be waxed so it doesnt soak up dye. i put the thread through the needle and pull like 4 inches through and then sew with a single thread. U pull the mickey head tight (and make sure all the ear fabric is up. then tie then rubber band and soak.

make sure u swirl it clockwise and make it tight then rubber band it

then dye mickey head and wrap with plastic wrap and rubber band it
