Pixie & marrimouse,
Just checking in to see if you guys have floated away yet?
It is unbelievable...I have lived in the Atlanta area my whole life and I have never seen anything like this. The pictures from the downtown connector were shocking to me.
There is no flooding in or around where I live but everything is saturated. A friend of mine has a 7" rain gauge...he said it had filled and he had emptied it 2 x's and this was as of Sun. morning.I saw where places W of Atl were getting 16+ inches yesterday.
The last weather report I saw was predicting rain through the weekend....
pixie, How is Lake Lanier looking? Is it full again?
I guess it would be safe to assume our drought is over.Hopefully, the sun will shine soon.
Stay safe everyone...
Yes, we can say the drought is over
the lake looks nice and full.We had a season pass for the water park and i think it was back in 2007 we walked under the bridges because the water was gone, it was shocking and sad, but not anymore, our rain dance worked
lol.Im from Houston so we are used to see floods there but not here
the images of 285 and 20 are shocking
Glad we all doing ok girls.

love they way the look....

They were fun to do but I had trouble with the mixing of the dye a little. Couldn't tell which darn one was orange - tried the two 'yellow' powders thinking one was orange but no - it was green! I did orange mickey heads and orange and yellow big sections and then some smaller black in the middle. I didn't separate the folds a ton so hoping the dye goes through and I get decent color and I also did the back of them since it didn't go all the way through. I used up a lot of orange and yellow and for my son's I ended up putting a little more water in the bottle so I expect his colors to be a little duller.

She bought 2 kits that were suppose to make 8 shirts each and we barely had enough to make 5!! (2 of those were smaller kid sizes). Perhaps we were doing something wrong...I didn't think so.
Anyone else found this to be a problem? I am going to make 11 for an upcoming trip. I guess I better have enough dye for 30+ shirts
