:rotfl2: Ok, I just got back from the Pop and let me just say I loved the cheese cake! But I have a question for anyone who has had it before....and not to be gross but I guess there is no way around it...did you notice the next day that they may have overdone it with the dye?

It was freaky!:scared1: :scared1:

That happened to my DH. He had a piece the night before. The following morning after using the bathroom, he had a strange look on his face. I asked him if he was all right. He said he felt fine but his pee was green!!! :lmao:

It took us a while to figure out it had to be the cheesecake that caused it. We all teased him about that the rest of the trip. He was not amused!!!

We will be returning to POP in in a couple of weeks and the Tie-dyed Cheesecake is not on the menu for him!!!

Ooh, just heard about this tie-dye cheesecake. I'm adding it to my must-taste list. But good to know about possible complications from it! Thanks!

They probably didn't overdo it, what you experienced is perfectly natural when you combine that much dye with your "stuff".

I remember first time my nieces had Froot Loops (and they were still in diapers), my DSis went nuts with worry.
She didn't connect the two, until I told her when she called in a panic.

Lotsa dye color in food can trigger bright green "stuff". :thumbsup2

PS I was disappointed in it. From NYC area and was not up to my standards......but the kids had fun eating it.

I can't get past the thought that the cheesecake looks too much like mushed up play-doh!!!

Green beer for St. Patricks day has the same effect on "stuff".:goodvibes

If someone posts a picture, make sure it's of the cheesecake and NOT, well, you know.

:rotfl2: The leprechaun made me do it!

oh, this is too funny!!! :rotfl:

(note to self: get DH to eat tye-dye cheesecake!!!)

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The first time it happened to me i genuinely thought i must be dying!! :rotfl: :rotfl: And it wasnt my pee.....and it wasnt green, it was blue!!!! :scared1:

Here's a picture from the above mentioned thread

Also, I'm probably in the minority here, but I didn't like it-Not cheesy enough for me. :confused3

Yeah, it didn't look very appetizing on the ad in the elevator... so when I went to the food court and checked it out, wasn't too crazy about trying it! :rotfl:

Whatever it does to my "waste," it doesn't matter. I am on a diet because I plan to eat one piece every night that I am there. Best use of snack credit IMHO.

:rotfl2: Yeah, despite producing blue, ahermm, waste, i still love it and will have it at least 5 or 6 times per trip

If you eat beets it can also do a number on you. Last year on her 12th b'day my DD had eaten alot of these at dinner time. When she went to the bathroom the next day. Well you get the picture. She was convinced that she had started something. What a relief to her when she found out it was not blood but instead from the beets. Anything with intense coloring can do that to you.
